I went running with my Ragnar teammate Marilyn and her cousin Liz at Las Sendas.  Marilyn brought her two kids and pushed them in a double jogging stroller.  I offered to take turns.  She was kind enough to let me push them uphill.  What a workout!  The uphill about a 200 foot climb over 1.25 miles (3%.)

Time - 45:07 (avg. pace 10:11)

Splits - 9:18, 9:30, 10:23, 11:20, 4:36 for 0.43 (10:44 pace)

Day 25 P90X - X Stretch

It was nice to get a good stretch after pushing that stroller up the hill.  But now it's actually the next morning, and I'm sore again.

YIKES! I know that feeling with the double stroller, it is TOUGH work! Glad you were nice enough to help with the stroller, even if you did have to take the hard part. Keep up the good work on the p90X!

The 30-day pictures will not be for public viewing. LOL!

RAD - what's up with you commenting 16 seconds before me? Trying to make me look rude? JK. The thing that worried me most about pushing the stroller was sweating all over her kids.

From Brent on Fri, Jul 30, 2010 at 15:08:19 from 66.7.127.219

Burt, did you pick up the pace on the hill? Ask for a repeat run, give it another shot, double jogger PR up the hill.

Wow, now THAT sounds like a real hill workout.

What a nice man

From Burt on Fri, Jul 30, 2010 at 20:11:56 from 206.19.214.144

Brent - Oh, there was more effort on the uphill, but the pace go significantly slower.

Deborah - just call me Sisyphus.

Lily - I don't think I would have been invited back if I didn't do the uphill :)
