Make sure to pass gas at your desk and your boss will stay away.

From RAD on Tue, Dec 07, 2010 at 15:41:10 from 67.172.229.125

Sounds like you GUYS have this down to a science (running and getting into work late, but not getting caught).

Excellent work on the run Burt! Looks like you're nearly in line for a new 10K PR.

From Burt on Tue, Dec 07, 2010 at 15:53:00 from 206.19.214.144

Don - that's brilliant. I mean, I've always enjoyed the thrill of a juicy fart, but to use one as a weapon, oh ho ho, what a powerful ally!

RAD - Thanks RAD. I need to run one soon.

From allie on Tue, Dec 07, 2010 at 20:45:52 from 174.23.238.75

ack! i didn't show up for work yesterday. don't tell my boss it was a running-related absence.

i agree with RAD, it's time for a 10k!

From Kelli on Tue, Dec 07, 2010 at 21:53:30 from 71.219.66.85

Those are pretty speedy miles, can not see WHY you would be late!

From SlowJoe on Tue, Dec 07, 2010 at 23:44:34 from 109.70.68.174

I recommend not sneaking out for a game of flag football in the afternoon unless you can find a life-size Burt doll to put at your desk.

From Karen on Tue, Dec 07, 2010 at 23:57:41 from 69.171.160.27

Again, Febreeze Burt, Febreeze. But then again, maybe that'a exactly why your boss didn't come visit this morning...hmmm...

Great run today!!!If you can do that in training, you're definitely ready to tackle a new PR!

From Burt on Wed, Dec 08, 2010 at 00:51:58 from 72.223.84.236

allie - I hope you called in. Nice job on your marathon. Was that a C qualifying perfomance?

Kelli - I'll do the math for you later.

Joe - I missed the flag football game yesterday. :(

Karen - my last 10k was a difficult trail run. It was fun, but not ideal for PRing. The one before that I was ready to PR, but the course volunteer sent us the wrong way. :(

From Rhett on Wed, Dec 08, 2010 at 11:51:35 from 74.41.249.102

Late for work and yet you took time to post on the blog. I'm glad you have your priorities in line.

From Toby on Wed, Dec 08, 2010 at 21:54:18 from 66.133.97.196

You're getting speedy these days Burt!

No runs or workouts since Tuesday? You must have gotten in a lot of trouble at work.

From Mike on Sat, Dec 11, 2010 at 19:15:18 from 66.27.21.113

I've seen it in print, but I've never heard anyone actually say, "Ack".

From Burt on Sun, Dec 12, 2010 at 10:39:39 from 64.165.25.27

Sorry guys. I'm back now.
