I was doing so good.  Then I got busy.  But it's nice to have side work.  Can't complain about that.  Today I ran at 1pm.  It was 104°!  I took sips off my water bottle every quarter mile.  I noticed at mile 2 that the water was quite warm.  Still wet though.  There were lots of big fish in the canal.  My average pace was 9:02.  The End.

wow...seriously? you ran in 104? I'm impressed that you could just keep moving!

From GoBeth on Wed, Jun 06, 2012 at 15:06:43 from 71.201.21.192

And I'm super impressed that your pace was 9:02! Keep it up! I couldn't move in heat like that.

From Burt on Wed, Jun 06, 2012 at 15:23:47 from 72.223.80.161

RAD - You really think I'm impressive? Gee, thanks.

Beth - It's either move or die. I didn't want to die. Oops. Forgot to enter my mileage.

From GoBeth on Wed, Jun 06, 2012 at 15:29:49 from 71.201.21.192

I did look for the mileage but when I didn't see it, I got sidetracked (and yes, impressed!) by your pace.

From JD on Wed, Jun 06, 2012 at 15:32:06 from 70.96.78.149

careful Burt, water tends to get very wet when it's warm!

JD - now you tell me!

I don't think I've ever run in 104 degrees. It sounds like you should add some ice to that water.

From Burt on Thu, Jun 07, 2012 at 15:22:46 from 72.223.80.161

Thanks Mike. Stay cool.

Julie - You got some ice I can borrow?

From Bonnie on Thu, Jun 07, 2012 at 15:28:15 from 128.196.228.134

From Burt on Thu, Jun 07, 2012 at 15:29:45 from 72.223.80.161
