My Garmin's still not working.  I tried everything Melody suggested.  I even went to the Garmin website to update the software, and that didn't help.  Dog-gone-it!

So I have to stick with doing the loops that I know the distance.  The timer still works.  I ran my 3-mile neighborhood loop today.  As I was was about a quarter mile away from home I saw two Mexican girls and their dad walking to the bus stop.  Right away I guessed it was the girls that are bullying my daughter.  Last week as my wife was hauling all our kids and the neighborhood kids to school, one of the girls yelled the B word at the van.  After my wife dropped them all off she came back and confronted the girl.  She told her not to yell curse words anymore, and if she continues to bother our daughter, she would call the police.

My daughter was leaving out the door right when I got home.  I asked my other daughter what the girls looked like, and they confirmed it was them.  So I went back out to try and catch up with her.  I figured the dad was walking his girls to the bus stop because they had told him what happened.  Well, my daughter almost missed the bus and she had to run to catch it.  Then the dad of the girls crossed the road to the other bus stop with his other daughter.  I stood at the corner contemplating if I should go have a talk with him.  Then he looked at me and started staring at me.  So I waved at him.  Then he looked away.  I started to walk closer, but I didn't want to make a scene in front of everyone not knowing how he might react.  So I ran another mile around the block.  Any suggestions on what I should do?  Should I go to his house and ask him to have a talk with his daughters about bullying?

I was up pretty late last night.  I couldn't sleep after my P90X workout.  It was pretty intense and especially hard to do after a big dinner.  But I had no problem getting up this morning.  I ran the 3-mile neighborhood loop.  I saw so many people I knew.  I saw so many people I've named.  I'm really going to miss this place when I move in a couple of weeks.

Happy anniversary to me!  I'm a 2-year veteran of the Fast Running Blog now.  Woo-hoo!

I had a recovery run this morning, but I couldn't figure out what I was recovering from.  Then I remembered it was from the P90X Core Synergistics the other night.  Total body soreness.  That reminds me.  The other day when I did 100 fast sit-ups, I had some major chaffing in the crackal region.  I couldn't figure out why my butt burned so much that day.

Are the advertisements that show up on the blog catered toward the kind of internet surfing you do?  If it is, I'm in trouble because I'm staring at a girl in a green and blue beach outfit from a Build Your Own Bikini ad.

So last night I was laying on the side of the bed while my wife and I were reading allie's charming blog.  I must have been too close to the side as I was being supported by the chairs next to our bed.  Yep, the one I'm sitting in from my video.  I think my hip was sinking too low and really contorted my spine because when I went to get up, it hurt real bad.  I laid on the floor and tried to bicycle kicking with my legs to loosen it up.  It helped a little.  So instead of running this morning, I rode my bike to work.  I figure this is the last time I'll get to ride to work from Queen Creek.  My back feels better now.

We signed the lease on the new house we'll be renting soon this afternoon.  I had my wife bring me a change of clothes so I could be more comfortable on my ride home.  There was construction going on along Southern Ave. so I turned on a road that took me close to James W's house, who by the way commented earlier on this blog entry, so now may not even see this.  It turned out to be a lot flatter than the way I usually go.  35 total miles on the bike today.
