Welcome to my snoozefest of a blog.  I hoped so desperately that something exciting would happen today on my run, but nothing did.  I started to think that I'm going to have to create my own excitement.  But I just don't have it in me anymore.  I'm old Gandalf.   I know I don't look it, but I'm beginning to feel it in my heart. I feel... thin. Sort of stretched, like... butter scraped over too much bread.

Nice three miles, isn't that enough excitement for you?

From Scott Wesemann on Mon, Oct 22, 2012 at 15:10:57 from 66.232.64.4

You're the most boring ex-missionary-comp on my list.

I think that might actually be a compliment.

Burt Man, without alcatraze or Robin, find Robin and start a new adventure - your readers are waiting for the next saga. Say Hi to Lybi for me.

What are your 2013 goals besides doing crazy things on your run?

Stay Kool, B of BS Rools out

What's with all The Lord of the Rings stuff? Such a violent show....so you and Scott comps?

From Burt on Tue, Oct 23, 2012 at 11:39:08 from 71.216.109.214

Brent - I'm thinking about running the Phoenix Marathon next year. Time will tell.

Rye - I don't know Rye. I don't have any answers. I must see the head of my order. He is both wise and powerful. Trust me Rye, he'll know what to do.

As for Scott and I being comps, that may or may not have actually happened. It's hard to tell. But Scott let me stay at his parent's condo in Midway a couple of years ago, and told them that we were companions and not random dudes that met each other on-line. That would be awkward. http://burt-mccumber.fastrunningblog.com/blog--Midway-is-really-pretty-little-town-/06-17-2010.html
