I went to the witch doctor chiropractor today.  He took some X-rays.  I definitely have disc problems.  He said there's a lot of wear and tear in my old spine.  And I'm a bit crooked, and have been for years.  He told me I shouldn't run.  Not a problem.  But as soon as I feel even a little better, I will be.  Sucker!

I've had doc's tell me the same thing. Have been going to a chiropractor and they've been stretching my spine. Feel much much better! And, now I get to run again.

Woo hoo! Well, mine said he could fix me. I hope he can. For his sake.

Hope it goes well - if he can't fix you, I recommend the Spine-O-Cylinder.

From Burt on Wed, Oct 10, 2012 at 17:30:40 from 71.216.109.214

From Burt on Wed, Oct 10, 2012 at 18:00:30 from 71.216.109.214

If you promise to be slow, I will go with you.

From ben on Wed, Oct 10, 2012 at 18:12:16 from 209.33.248.15

I'm marathon tired, so I am slow for a couple more weeks. Text me friday for time and location. 435-313-4874

Ok, I'll call you maybe.

From MarkP on Fri, Oct 12, 2012 at 13:29:02 from 75.162.223.189

Yeah, I've got a Quack too. He wants me to see him x3 a week...lol! I go about 4 times a year for an adjustment-which is better than massage (and I pay cash).

From Burt on Fri, Oct 12, 2012 at 13:52:21 from 71.216.109.214

Mine says the same thing! But mine is in my ward, and he has this thing that he doesn't charge anyone in the ward a copay. My insurance covers my visits, so, no out of pocket for me. Yesterday after I called him a witch doctor to his face he said, "Well, if you're going to be a witch doctor, you might as well be the best one in town."

From DaleG on Fri, Oct 12, 2012 at 23:10:49 from 152.216.11.5

Seems like all chiropractors think runners are stupid and/or crazy. Mine always gives me a hard time about running. My spine curves to the right, so my head is always tilted to the right. If you look at my race pictures on zazoosh for the St. George marathon, you can clearly see my head tilting. lol. Last name Gardiner. Check them out.

Ha! Just saw them. You shoulda had a V8.

From DaleG on Fri, Oct 12, 2012 at 23:36:34 from 152.216.11.5

LOL. I looked at them again, too, and they made me laugh.

From Tara on Thu, Oct 18, 2012 at 07:52:21 from 75.169.138.78

Lol! You're too funny, Burt. I was thinking of calling my chiropractor today to adjust some things, but I know I'll hear that same spiell,"No running! And by the way, see me 3 x week for 6 months. THEN and only then you will be fine!" Maybe we're the quacks that keep them in business. But I really do like mine:)

From Burt on Thu, Oct 18, 2012 at 09:37:33 from 71.216.109.214

Hi Tara. Today is supposed to be my last day. Then I'm off for a week. And from then on it's maintenance. Maybe I have BO.
