After yesterday's run I was thinking it would take forever for me to get back into it.  After today's run I'm thinking it might not take that long after all.  Yesterday each mile split progressively got higher.  Today they got lower.  And I feel pretty good.  As the Brady kids would say -

We're gonna keep on, keep on, keep on, keep on dancing all through the night,

We're gonna keep on, keep on, keep on doing it right,

We're gonna keep on, keep on , keep on movin,

Gonna keep on, keep on, keep on grooving,

Keep on singing and dancing all through the night,

One of my favorite Tom Brady songs. Here's his dance that goes along with it:

Burt,

You are doing some serious running lately. Keep it up. Thought about you today while running...I had some issues. I often think about people from this blog site while running. But I always think about you when I am in a particular state of distress. Do I need to say more? Hey, I responded to your blog entry on my blog page (March 24th).

From Hamdog Alum on Tue, Mar 27, 2012 at 18:50:25 from 24.240.65.116

Oh no now I'm going to have that song stuck in my head all night.

From Burt on Tue, Mar 27, 2012 at 20:55:45 from 72.223.93.158

Jake - Tom would do well to learn some better dance moves from Homer Simpson.

QP - Thanks! Not as good as you, though.

ACorn - I just wish I was earning interest on these miles.

PRE - Clinch your buttocks.

Hamdog - You love the Brady Bunch!

From Rye on Tue, Mar 27, 2012 at 21:02:02 from 174.27.67.141

Trying to say something that will motivate..... unlike my comment yesterday.... are you turning a new leaf over an being all serious? Nice running Burt!

From Tara on Tue, Mar 27, 2012 at 21:02:37 from 75.169.143.129

They really know how to motivate through song and dance. The Very Brady Sequel is a personal fav.

On a serious note, NICE! Good for you and your progress!

From Burt on Tue, Mar 27, 2012 at 21:42:35 from 72.223.93.158

Rye - maybe you can get Tara to write me another poem.

From Tara on Tue, Mar 27, 2012 at 21:53:40 from 75.169.143.129

Done. Roses are red, violets are blue. Burt is making improvements, how 'bout you? Or...

His name is Burt he likes to flirt. He goes on runs to look at girls buns. Although you may think its funny, Burt's no dummy. He really goes on runs to tone HIS buns. ps. Steve approves of this poem. From Tara

From Burt on Tue, Mar 27, 2012 at 21:55:44 from 72.223.93.158

Awesome! And please don't tell me that Rye's real name is Steve. I never wanted to know that.

From Tara on Tue, Mar 27, 2012 at 21:59:38 from 75.169.143.129

I know this may come as a shocker but rye's real name is..... Wait for it......Ryan. Ryan K. I wil tell no more. I respect others privacy on this blog, something not everyone does. Steve is my husband. Rye may not approve of this message however. Maybe he needs a poem too.

From Burt on Tue, Mar 27, 2012 at 22:04:43 from 72.223.93.158

Oh. Whew! Sorry for giving away your last name to everyone who is too lazy too look at your URL.

From Rye on Wed, Mar 28, 2012 at 07:50:58 from 75.174.55.82

Secrets out...... like who really cares about me......Tara, I'm feeling down, how about a poem?

Burt, do you know any Davidsons in Mesa? They are pretty active in the church so you might not know them.....

From Burt on Wed, Mar 28, 2012 at 09:42:25 from 72.223.93.158

You are right Ryan K, err...Rye, err...Bishop. I don't know the Davidsons. Although, I did take Heather Davidson to prom, and she was from Idaho.

From flatlander on Thu, Mar 29, 2012 at 15:38:58 from 76.31.26.153

Rye, I saw somebody with an Idaho license plate yesterday, stuck in traffic in the rain on the freeway. Somehow it seemed funny, not sure why -- he must have made a wrong turn somewhere.

From PRE on Thu, Mar 29, 2012 at 16:11:07 from 99.50.213.11

Burt -

What have you been up to? Tomorrow is Friday and then the weekend. Hope you don't have to work (at work) weekends. Any running plans?

From Rye on Thu, Mar 29, 2012 at 17:19:50 from 174.27.119.74

Flat... we(Idahoans) have that deer in headlights look when we jump state lines.

From Burt on Thu, Mar 29, 2012 at 17:39:36 from 72.223.93.158

PRE - I blogged today. No running. Great story though.
