This morning I felt like doing a fast mile.  I wasn't sure how it would work out, but I felt pretty good.  Let me take that back.  It was hard, but I'm good with the time.

Splits - 8:25, 6:41, 8:52

Now if I can just string 26 6:41's together...

Burt, good job, that is a fast mile. Do two the next time and you are on your way. In 26 days you will be ready to start a new cycle at 6:00. This really isn't so hard now that I think about it.

How hot was it? I slept in this morning and ran in 85 degree heat. I can't imagine what it must be like running hard and fast like you did in the valley of the sun.

flat - It sounds so easy in theory. I'm sure it will work. LOL! Hey, can you do me a favor. Go back to my blog last week and see if you can see my race report. I was having trouble with it earlier, but I think I fixed it. Thanks!

Chad - It was early enought that it was still in the low 80's. Yesterday I thought about running in the heat of the day just to say I did it because it was 112 out, but we went swimming instead.

Burt, it's there now. I couldn't get it to come up an hour ago, but it seems fine now. I haven't read it or tried playing the video, but everything seems in order.

Good news. Thanks.

6:41! Righteous mile!

From SlowJoe on Fri, Jun 25, 2010 at 22:24:26 from 184.79.24.255

That is indeed a fast mile. I like Flatlander's strategy. You'll be shattering world records by the end of the year!

From Lily on Sat, Jun 26, 2010 at 13:22:24 from 67.199.181.73

Just keep building up 6:41's until you can do 26 6:41's all at once. :p hahahaha
