I'm not sure what I did to my back, but it hurts like the dickens.  It's been hurting a little while I've been moving.  I figured maybe I wasn't lifting with my legs properly.  Maybe it's all caught up to me now.  I'm pretty sure it didn't have anything to do with cardio thunder, tho' that's been the cause of back discomfort before.  I hope it gets better soon, but I'm hurtin' for certain or my name isn't Burton.

Here's a pic for the inspired runner Ben.

That's what I'm talkin' about... All my workouts must have a Del Taco somewhere in the loop! I like the new deal... I hope it comes here!

From Steve Piccolo on Fri, Jun 04, 2010 at 19:19:26 from 155.101.243.223

Sorry to hear about your back. Hope it feels better soon. By the way, I probably already told you, but you live in my old stomping grounds. Or maybe they're your old stomping grounds too. I used to live in Higley and used to drive (not run) around the roads you mentioned in a recent post. It's getting warm up here, so I guess it's getting blazing down there. But you can handle it, I'm sure.

Thunder-cardio always helps my back. Wayyyy better than a trip to the chiropractor. I thought your real name was Buster?

From SlowJoe on Fri, Jun 04, 2010 at 23:10:58 from 204.133.180.90

Hopefully it's just some soreness that will be gone soon.

I can barely remember Del Taco! We used to have them in Texas (long time ago), now we don't.

Hi Burt, Hope your back feels better soon - I recall your back was bugging you a couple weeks ago, too. (I tweaked mine a few weeks ago; my actual "back" pain has been totally gone for a couple weeks now, but I'm experiencing severe sciatica pain that has all but incapacitated me. Hope you fare better!)

From Lily on Sat, Jun 05, 2010 at 17:46:01 from 67.199.181.73

Sounds like you in fact did have some thunder cardio sessions. Nice....

From flatlander on Sat, Jun 05, 2010 at 21:54:04 from 75.223.125.28

Moving will get your back, even if you don't feel it until the next day. Daily applications of ice and Del Taco should suffice.

From Burt on Sun, Jun 06, 2010 at 15:21:18 from 68.225.214.248

Steve - I thought you were closer to South Tempe when you were here for some reason.

Trap - No. A lot of people confuse me with Buster Bluth, but my real name is Burton.

Adele - The last time I complained about my back it only lasted for about a day. Now it's been a few days, and it still hurts. I think it's getting better though. I hope so. I'd hate to have to drop out of Ragnar Wasatch Back.

Lily - actually I'm still not quite sure what thunder cardio is, but I know it wasn't my birthday.

Flat - Ice and Del Taco sounds like a cure all.

I'm sorry your back is hurting, but I'm glad that something finally caught up with you.

From Lily on Mon, Jun 07, 2010 at 00:16:46 from 67.199.181.73

You're so smooth with words Burton

From Burt on Mon, Jun 07, 2010 at 02:23:20 from 68.225.214.248

Carolyn - hard to believe something can catch up to someone as FAST as me. lol. Nice job again on your recent marathon.

Lily - I like to rhyme. Some of the time.

Thanks for welcoming me to the fastrunningblog last week. I used to live in Paradise Valley about 10 years ago but I wasn't a runner then. How do you do it? It's even hot at night.

From Burt on Mon, Jun 07, 2010 at 11:59:24 from 206.19.214.144

Paradise Valley? You must be rich. :)

The high's are around 110 right now. Still not too bad. LOL!

Sorry about your back. :( When I clicked on your blog I mis-read the first line and thought it just said that you hurt(but not where) and then I saw the picture and thought for a minute you were hurting somewhere else and it was another blog TMI moment...but nevermind. Anyways, feel better.

From Merri on Mon, Jun 07, 2010 at 19:52:04 from 160.7.252.148

I could go for some 39 cent tacos right about now. maybe that's what I should get Lyns for dinner while she recovers.

From Kelli on Tue, Jun 08, 2010 at 00:27:42 from 71.219.93.114

I am not sure what all of that is about, but I LOVE Del Taco!!!!!!

Hope your back feels better soon!
