Again with the weirdness.  Not only am I not going as far on my runs as I was last week, I'm going faster than I was.  So it just seems odd this week that I'm done so quickly.  Oh well.  I'm sure I'll get over it.

Holy Thunder! That's fast. How many days did you do 10 miles in a row? Great job!!

From Eric Day on Tue, Nov 10, 2009 at 11:39:11 from 189.192.55.254

Hi Burt, I see you are upping your miles greatly. Just be careful, take it easy, go at an easy pace...don't want to get hurt.

From Sandy Dune-Howard on Tue, Nov 10, 2009 at 11:50:14 from 90.195.99.103

Leslie - you're funny. It's not that fast. But to answer your question, 6 days in a row!

Eric - I'm being careful. Mileage will be way down this week.

Sandy Dune! lol! thanks.

Burt, did you end up deciding to do the Mesquite Marathon? I'm guessing that is why you are cutting milage.

From Burt on Tue, Nov 10, 2009 at 14:35:52 from 68.76.197.194

Yep Rhett. I'm doing it. Call me stupid.

From Rhett on Tue, Nov 10, 2009 at 15:37:08 from 74.42.168.210

Burt, no way I'm calling you "stupid." Well, at least not about running the marathon. I think that is awsome. It will be your first full right? That was the first marathon I ever did. Just remember not to go out too fast because the last 6 to 8 miles have some serious hills.

From Burt on Tue, Nov 10, 2009 at 15:42:38 from 68.76.197.194

This will be my second, but my first was a disaster. I'm pretty sure I'll set a new PR!

From Burt on Tue, Nov 10, 2009 at 15:42:51 from 68.76.197.194

and thanks for the advice.

From RAD on Tue, Nov 10, 2009 at 20:19:24 from 76.27.12.70

YEA!! That Mesquite marathon is going to be a party. I was going to go, unfortunately life interfered and it was a no-go :( You will do great, taper well and a new PR will come (probably by an hour or more!)
