So THAT'S how you take care of the competition. Maybe I should adopt that technique and then someday I will break enough legs to win a race...:) anyways nice run, and as always, nice pace.

From Metcalf Running on Mon, Jun 08, 2009 at 12:02:57 from 207.225.192.66

Nice run today!! Maybe it was just a fluke with the new guy, he probably won't be out there very much LOL

From Mike Warren on Mon, Jun 08, 2009 at 12:10:19 from 207.50.149.221

A guy faster than you? I doubt it. I think he was just a golfer running scared from you, LOL! Hey, great miles today, nicely done.

From rattletrap on Mon, Jun 08, 2009 at 12:13:50 from 24.19.93.139

If he's faster than you, you'll have to sneak up on him. Or maybe you could use the blade of grass trick...no that would be too weird :)

From Britta on Mon, Jun 08, 2009 at 12:15:28 from 66.74.236.175

Have you decided what to use to break it yet? We don't want to see on 48 hours so it has got to look like an accident.

From Eric Day on Mon, Jun 08, 2009 at 12:30:24 from 189.192.53.136

Interesting strategies:

Boys, break a leg

Girls, blade of grass.

mmm...

From Leandra on Mon, Jun 08, 2009 at 12:36:30 from 71.213.97.130

nice pic. And I break people's legs everyday, it's not that big of a deal.

From Teena on Mon, Jun 08, 2009 at 15:05:52 from 67.177.20.13

Nice job there Burt!

Take it easy on him and make it a clean break ... it'll heal faster yet the message will be clear!! :)

From Burt on Mon, Jun 08, 2009 at 16:06:25 from 68.76.197.194

You guys make me laugh.

From Burt on Mon, Jun 08, 2009 at 16:11:27 from 68.76.197.194

Merri - the strain on my face is because your husband just grabbed my rear right as the picture was snapped.

From Burt on Mon, Jun 08, 2009 at 18:44:36 from 68.76.197.194

He must be Italian.

From Brent on Mon, Jun 08, 2009 at 21:02:52 from 168.178.30.75

Lucky Burt, "break a leg"

Stay Kool, salty 4 leaf clover over your shoulder, B of BS Rools out

From Sam Dean-howard on Tue, Jun 09, 2009 at 05:01:27 from 78.32.130.9

Hey Burt, nice pace and great running.... break his leg, but how ya going to do it, hide in a bush jump out on him hahaha that would be funny to see....

Love the new pic :-)

From Kelli on Tue, Jun 09, 2009 at 12:52:19 from 71.219.74.247

Once again, I know which blog to visit when I need to laugh!

I say it was a fluke, he was out doing speedwork and you were just taking it easy.

(But, if it has to be done, do not take Tonya's advice on this matter, it ruined her life!)

From Burt on Tue, Jun 09, 2009 at 13:18:04 from 68.76.197.194

I think a baseball bat will work nicely. A swift swing right in the middle of the knee and ankle. It'll be, "Hey buddy, how's the running going?" WHAMMO!!!

Kelli - you want a laugh? Check out Merri and Leandra's new profile pics. They get better and better.

From Kelli on Tue, Jun 09, 2009 at 13:30:12 from 71.219.74.247

OKay, so are you guys doing this to each other?

From Sam Dean-howard on Tue, Jun 09, 2009 at 16:29:24 from 90.201.147.127

hahaha, I prefer Merri's profile pic LOL

From kungfublonde on Thu, Jun 11, 2009 at 11:36:40 from 64.203.113.50

You know, you could just get faster. Then you won't need to go all Tonya Harding on him.

From Burt on Thu, Jun 11, 2009 at 11:50:39 from 68.76.197.194

Well, Rachel, I never really thought of that.

BTW, how sad is kungfublonde now that David Carradine has passed away?

From Bonnie on Thu, Jun 11, 2009 at 11:52:32 from 75.164.110.212

Tonya Harding was my first thought too! I think Burt would have to grow his hair out a little, but he is kind of close to looking like her except for that .... he he he

From kungfublonde on Thu, Jun 11, 2009 at 11:54:32 from 64.203.113.50

It is sad when someone dies. And sad when it's someone you used to watch on tv as a child. But I'm more Kill Bill than Kwai Chang Caine. So no candle light vigils going on over here.

From Burt on Thu, Jun 11, 2009 at 11:55:11 from 68.76.197.194

She is an exceptionally handsome woman.

From Burt on Thu, Jun 11, 2009 at 11:58:29 from 68.76.197.194

Plus she's right back on top with her special appearances on the Smoking Gun's World's Dumbest.
