I had plans to go running with JulieC this morning, but she dogged me.  Not JulieC the blogger.  A different JulieC.  So I just run 4.44 miles around the neighborhood.  After resting yesterday, I was really feeling pretty good all day.  Until this morning when I ran.  I guess after working a 12 hour shift and not eating for 8 hours prior doesn't put you in ideal conditions for running.  It kinda hurt.  I don't think I'll run that 5k tomorrow.

just go and have fun at the 5k. you know you'll regret it if you don't.

From flatlander on Fri, Apr 13, 2012 at 14:05:51 from 76.31.26.153

Agree, you will feel as fast tomorrow as you did slow today. Just get some more rest if you can and you will be like new.

But this is the problem guys; I get off work at 5:30am. The race is scheduled to start at 8am, which means it will probably start at 9am. I don't know if I can stay up another three hours, and if I do, I can't imagine that I'll feel any better than I did today.

From flatlander on Fri, Apr 13, 2012 at 15:12:56 from 198.207.244.102

I agree I guess, I wouldn't want to run it without sleep.

From Burt on Fri, Apr 13, 2012 at 15:19:14 from 72.223.93.158

Do you agree with everyone Flat? You're so wishy washy.

From flatlander on Fri, Apr 13, 2012 at 15:22:18 from 198.207.244.102

Maybe, maybe not.

Hmmmm. You must be the best lawyer in all of Texas.

From ACorn on Fri, Apr 13, 2012 at 15:55:52 from 24.2.76.146

Get some sleep and then run your own 5k. I'll be here if you have any more questions. Case solved.

run = present tense. ran = past tense.

From Burt on Fri, Apr 13, 2012 at 17:15:51 from 72.223.93.158

ACorn - Nice. Sounds like you could give Flatlander some good legal advice.

JD - sleep deprivation = shut the bleep up!

From SlowJoe on Fri, Apr 13, 2012 at 18:05:38 from 69.131.141.92

I agree with flatlander - you should definitely maybe run it.

From Bonnie on Fri, Apr 13, 2012 at 20:26:20 from 64.119.33.134

Hi Burt, sorry about today, things were sort of rough and took longer than I had anticipated. I promise we will get together soon. xo

From Burt on Sat, Apr 14, 2012 at 15:45:46 from 72.223.93.158

Joe - You're absolutely right. Unless you're wrong.

Bonnie - For some reason I still had it in my mind that your appointment was Thursday. So after Thursday came and went I felt like crud for not checking up on you. Then I remembered it was Friday, so I was okay again. But then I got busy Friday afternoon so I felt like crud again. Hope you're doing well :)
