Page one of the mileage board of course comes at a price, we pay it gladly

Looks like it is time for band aids over the nipples, or maybe just some vaseline will work. I've never experienced that. Knock on wood.

From Burt on Fri, Nov 06, 2009 at 13:29:17 from 68.76.197.194

An exploded nipple is a small price to pay for the glory. I forgot to put the Body Glide on that part of my body because I was putting it on so many other newly chaffed areas.

From Sandy Dune-Howard on Fri, Nov 06, 2009 at 14:08:45 from 90.195.99.151

Oh the joy of mileage eh! body glide is so good though when Im doing a long run it goes all over my feet not once have I had a blister :-)

oh and other places, but if I forget it aint good LOL but even with body glide if you get soaked you still get chaffing.... Sorry for you bloodiness Burt im not horrible eough to laugh at that :-(

From Brent on Fri, Nov 06, 2009 at 14:33:25 from 66.7.127.219

Burt - nice 10er again, hum, not too photogenic. Red and yellow don't go well together. Nice pace on the 10er given your upped mileage.

Just get a sports bra! That's what I do; works great.

You are really racking up the miles! I am so impressed, and would like to keep up, but I'm still whining about my leg. Rats!

From Burt on Fri, Nov 06, 2009 at 17:13:03 from 68.76.197.194

Sam - it's okay too laugh. It hurts my wife more than me.

Brent - I was thinking if I wore green it would be great for Christmas.

auntieem - and fill it with GU's?

From Brent on Fri, Nov 06, 2009 at 19:25:41 from 66.7.127.219

Auntieem and Burt, you two crack me up. Always a fun day. Good Burt has a great sense of humor.

Is that a cotton shirt you're wearing?

From Lyman on Fri, Nov 06, 2009 at 20:21:34 from 75.169.105.114

Sports bra is the only way to go, or as Sienfeld called it a "bro". You can stuff it with small bladders of water. Sure it will slosh around but it gives a much more realistic feel.

From seeaprilrun on Fri, Nov 06, 2009 at 20:53:10 from 24.249.48.250

Go Burt! the 10-mile saga continues! Love the battle wounds!

From The Howling Commando on Sun, Nov 08, 2009 at 18:32:18 from 72.224.31.85

Ouch. Looks like it hurt... a LOT.

From Burt on Sun, Nov 08, 2009 at 18:35:16 from 98.177.216.165

That's the thing. It didn't hurt. I got home and looked in the mirror, and was like, "Ah dang it! I wonder how many people saw me like that?"
