I was a fool to ever leave your side.  Me minus you is such a lonely ride.  Okay, that's all of the song I'm gonna recite because it starts to get mushy.  But it was good to be reunited with Marathon Dreamer.  Dreamer had run 8 miles already before I got there.  She was going for 20 so I ran the next 12 with her.  She did awesome.  The miles seemed to fly by, but I'm going to feel it in the morning.

Way to log 'em Burt.

From Burt on Tue, Dec 28, 2010 at 12:42:18 from 206.19.214.144

Thanks Chad. Looks like you had a nice run with some of the blogging crew last week.

Good run and good reunion.

Wowee! 12 miles on a Monday. Did you have the day off?

From Burt on Tue, Dec 28, 2010 at 16:46:37 from 206.19.214.144

Mark - Thanks.

Melody - I went right after work. Here's the bad part. I thought I had some body glide in my backpack. I didn't. At mile 8 I noticed a little nipular bleeding. At mile 10 it was pretty significant. With two more miles to go I had to take my shirt off. Luckily it was dark out.

From allie on Tue, Dec 28, 2010 at 17:11:58 from 174.23.238.75

i was going to comment on how awesome it was that you ran 12 miles on a monday. then i read about nipular bleeding and started puking everywhere. so sorry, no comment today.

From Burt on Tue, Dec 28, 2010 at 17:57:48 from 206.19.214.144

allie - would it be worse if I told you I was a C cup?

From allie on Tue, Dec 28, 2010 at 18:13:03 from 174.23.238.75

spewing...

From Burt on Tue, Dec 28, 2010 at 18:19:22 from 206.19.214.144

Well, after losing so much blood in the right breast I was a C cup in the left bosom and a B cup in the right.

Glad you had such a big breakfast.

From Lily on Tue, Dec 28, 2010 at 18:49:16 from 67.199.181.73

BAAAAAARRF.

12 miles is a kick-rear run outside. Respect, Burt.

From SlowJoe on Tue, Dec 28, 2010 at 18:50:19 from 109.70.68.174

I was going to comment on how awesome it was that you were bleeding from the nipples but allie's puking made me puke everywhere and I'm now unable to comment as well.

Well, except to explain why I can't comment, and this sentence explaining that fact.

From Burt on Tue, Dec 28, 2010 at 18:55:11 from 206.19.214.144

Thanks for the respect Lily. and the barf.

Joe - Ever watch the Goonies? "But the worst thing I ever done — I mixed all this fake puke at home and then I went to this movie theater, hid the puke in my jacket, climbed up to the balcony and then... then, I made a noise like this: hua-hua-hua-huaaaaaaa — and then I dumped it over the side, all over the people in the audience. And then, this was horrible, all the people started getting sick and throwing up all over each other. I never felt so bad in my entire life."

From SlowJoe on Tue, Dec 28, 2010 at 18:59:34 from 109.70.68.174

It's been awhile, but that is the one scene I do remember. Did they invent sympathetic puking?!

From Burt on Tue, Dec 28, 2010 at 19:10:40 from 206.19.214.144

Not sure. I'll look it up on Wikipedia.

From seeaprilrun on Tue, Dec 28, 2010 at 19:56:34 from 72.205.226.14

I'm lost in puke talk and have completely missed your post--something about 12 miles with Dreamer. Sounds like it was a lovely reunion.

When I read this I thought the first line said "I was a tool". Ha. I am on Lortab at the moment though.

From rAtTLeTrAp on Thu, Dec 30, 2010 at 15:26:59 from 75.196.24.194

Sorry Burt. Allie one-upped your bloody nipple run today. FWIW, have you tried taping cotton balls to your nipples?

From DonGardinero on Thu, Dec 30, 2010 at 21:57:51 from 67.2.97.128

Did you go on another "business trip" to San Diego?

From april27 on Thu, Dec 30, 2010 at 22:14:17 from 99.188.251.180

I"m jealous of the mileage on your shoes.

From ChrisM on Fri, Dec 31, 2010 at 06:29:33 from 82.20.234.157

another word for puking is refluxing

e.g. "hello officer, sorry i can't talk at the moment, i am just refluxing right now"

From Burt on Fri, Dec 31, 2010 at 11:37:56 from 72.223.84.236

Sorry peeps (that's kid talk for people.) It's been raining here, so MD and I had planned on running again, but we didn't, so I didn't. Now I'm going out of town but hope to get a nice run in tomorrow.

Oh yeah, it actually snowed here yesterday for like 2 minutes. I thought it was Armaggedon.

From Merri on Fri, Dec 31, 2010 at 18:39:23 from 160.7.252.148
