My joints are still a little achy from yesterday's all out performance, but I feel good.  When I started to run, my body wanted to go all out again, so I had to force myself to slow down.

Time: 22:52 (avg. pace 7:37)

Splits:

1 mile - 7:46

2 mile - 7:56

3 mile - 7:10

I decided to run a little extra today to get that even number for K-Steph's sake.

Nice speed man! WOW! Sorry about the aches and pains :( Boy these bodies can be a bit whiny sometimes :p

Great pace speedy! It's good to force yourself to slow down sometimes... otherwise you end up like me... :)

I'm new to this blog. You were the first to comment on my page. Keep up the good running results.

From Burt on Thu, Mar 12, 2009 at 11:57:08 from 68.76.197.194

Thanks gals.

Ben - There are quite a few members of the blog from the St. George area. You can click on Other Blogs and do a search for them by city. You may even know some of them. Also, since there is already a member of the blog named Ben, when you enter your name in the Name column while you try and comment on someone else's blog, it links to the other Ben. Try entering 'inspiredrunner' in the name column or your blog URL in the Blog web address column. Thanks for the comment!

Burt was the first to comment on my blog as well. He is quite the social butterfly on the blog.

That's an awesome pace, especially considering you slowed yourself down on purpose! Way to go with the PR on yesterday's training run! Here's your medal:

From Lucia on Thu, Mar 12, 2009 at 12:39:43 from 74.9.147.114

Yeah, Burt is pretty awesome... but I won't call him the best fastrunning blogger until he shaves his chest writing "FRB" :)

From MichelleL on Thu, Mar 12, 2009 at 13:03:01 from 67.41.191.61

Lucia - how 'bout you shave it into your legs? That'd be a cute look :)

I have painted it on my legs, so that should get me into the top 5 (Provo 10 miler: FRB on one side, St G RC on the other).

From Burt on Thu, Mar 12, 2009 at 15:37:15 from 68.76.197.194

Social butterfly. I've been called a butterfly before. See Lybi's blog: http://lybi.fastrunningblog.com/blog-07-26-2008.html

Thanks for the medal, Mike! I am a rockstar, and I'm getting my game on.

Rocket - wait 'til you see tonight's entry...

Michelle - a nice tattoo would bump you up a few more spots. Or maybe some warrior face paint.

Smokin' pace ButterFlyMan! BF makes me think of the SNL sketch with the scarlet letter.

From Burt on Thu, Mar 12, 2009 at 16:00:59 from 68.76.197.194

I remember that one. It was a bit irreverant. It seemed to make the audience a bit uncomfortable, like "are we allowed to laugh?"

From montelepsy on Thu, Mar 12, 2009 at 16:07:36 from 155.85.58.253

It was quite shocking for network tv. I nearly fell over.

From Kelli on Thu, Mar 12, 2009 at 18:23:09 from 71.219.76.202

What kind of cheerios do you eat????

From Kelli on Thu, Mar 12, 2009 at 18:34:43 from 71.219.76.202

Oh, and thanks for the EVEN day, it was really getting to me. I forgot to mention that in the first post, I got distracted by a screaming 4 year old.

And i agree with shaving FRB into your chest. DO IT!

From Burt on Thu, Mar 12, 2009 at 22:45:18 from 98.167.151.26

So, Kelli. You knew I was talking about you? What if I said K-dawg?

From Kelli on Thu, Mar 12, 2009 at 23:48:12 from 71.219.76.202

I am brighter than I appear some of the time, like when there is a full moon and the stars align perfectly!

K-dawg, that is just my FAVORITE nick name ever! I am such a ghetto rapper, it fits.
