Last night was the Third Thursday Adventure Run.  Of course Merri and RAD already know that.  Nice "seeing" you ladies there last night.  The one blogger that I did see was JamesW.  He hasn't blogged in 8.5 months, but he was one of the first on the blog.  He's an original blogging gangsta ya nizzle.  Or for short, OBGYN.  Anyway, I got a new T-shirt, three pairs of socks, and some calf sleeves for helping out last night.

My knee started hurting after my run yesterday.  The same knee as as Sunday but in a different spot.  It's always something with me.  So, I'll take a break today.

Stupid pains and injuries. Hey, you got some good stuff last night. You gonna share?

From Burt on Fri, Jun 17, 2011 at 14:29:32 from 206.19.214.144

If by share you mean sell it for twice what it's worth, then yes, I'm going to share.

That was a funny post, Burt!

From ChrisM on Fri, Jun 17, 2011 at 15:26:32 from 86.10.81.85

Retlouping Burt! You should do some retlouping! Go youtube it

JamesW must have been here when it was all empty fields etc..

From Burt on Fri, Jun 17, 2011 at 15:38:40 from 206.19.214.144

Steve - I made a funny? I've never done that before :)

Chris - You sent me that youtube before. I'm afraid to try it because it's probably a prank that makes your neck get stuck in the down position or something. Then everybody will be like, "Ha ha! You've been retlouping!"

From ChrisM on Fri, Jun 17, 2011 at 15:48:28 from 86.10.81.85

No it is not a prank, although when my physio suggested it I was very sceptical!

I has helped a lot with my back; most of the time people think they have tight hamstrings and try to stretch them out. The idea with retlouping is that the hamstrings are tight because nerves are stimulating them to be tight. I had probelms from leaning forward to look at computers etc and being uncomfortable to sit down for long periods. By moving your neck and head and supporting your back you teach the body not to need to excite the hamstrings so much. You should feel a sensation in top of your thighs, plus if you compare hamstring length now and after couple of days of doing it it will be better!

Okay, I'm gonna do it. But so help me Chris, if it's a prank, they can't make the Atlantic wide enough for me to get to you!

From Dan on Fri, Jun 17, 2011 at 20:41:10 from 24.209.83.20

Hope that 'retlouping' works for you! After yesterdays post, I was half expecting more Devo or perhaps some Shaun Cassidy and the Do run run

From bye-wing on Sat, Jun 18, 2011 at 12:25:16 from 124.122.196.121

Take it easy with the knee. Maybe you are getting old :)

From flatlander on Sat, Jun 18, 2011 at 12:26:28 from 76.31.26.153

Hope you're getting in a good one today, and I hope it's a hot one, just so you can have bragging rights of course, don't mean no harm.

From Burt on Sat, Jun 18, 2011 at 16:55:28 from 72.223.90.79

Dan - I prefer David Cassidy and the Partridge family.

Bye-wing - I'm getting young. Meany! :P

Mark - It's plenty hot here today. Maybe I'll wait 'til 2 when it's hottest.

From ChrisM on Sat, Jun 18, 2011 at 17:10:07 from 86.10.81.85

I think you should do your run wearing:

jumper

coat

ski socks

water proof trousers

bin bag over top with hole in for head

From Burt on Sat, Jun 18, 2011 at 17:23:15 from 72.223.90.79

That won't get me arrested or anything.
