I was just going to run 3 miles this morning, but I saw this bright orange thing coming at me from down the road.  As it got closer I noticed it was a lady running.  She stopped and turned around.  I wondered if she was scared of me or something.  I decided I'd better run her down just to make a point.  So instead of turning where I usually do, I continued on down my 'around the block' loop.  I had almost caught up to her when she stopped, pulled off to the side, and started stretching.  Whatever lady.  You know you were going down!

Time - 28:08 (avg. pace 8:02)

Splits - 8:12, 8:18, 7:43, 3:55 for 0.50 (7:51 pace)

The old stretching routine. I've used that many of times.......

Such a cop out. I use sit-ups instead. They're more believable.

This is an excerpt from the lady's blog:

I was out for what I thought would be a nice run this morning, when this beast of a man started chasing and stalking me. I'm not sure if he was trying beat me (why do people always do that-sheesh) or if he had other intentions. I wasn't going to play his games so I stopped to stretch, and luckily, he went on his way. GRIPE!

Nope, but I saw her yesterday. I need to take my camera phone out with me.

From Burt on Wed, Apr 28, 2010 at 20:03:56 from 206.19.214.144

Whatever April. I couldn't catch you if I tried.

From SlowJoe on Wed, Apr 28, 2010 at 20:29:20 from 184.79.24.255

You could always try, then just stop to stretch if it looks like it's not going to happen.

From Nan on Wed, Apr 28, 2010 at 21:23:32 from 174.51.250.151

Maybe she noticed you following her and she wanted to check you out. With all your new muscles and everything its entirely possible.

You should have logged this one in as a race report.

So you really are a stalker. First you chase kids and now you're running after women. What's next?

From baldnspicy on Wed, Apr 28, 2010 at 23:40:42 from 72.77.121.216

Sit ups, Burt? I would have thought you would have pulled out the yoga! Or maybe shown off your plank skills. She just didn't want to get dude'd.
