Two stories:  Yesterday I was cruising down the road, and some idiot was riding his bike on the wrong side of the road coming right at me.  That's not a big deal.  I'd prefer they be on the sidewalk or better yet, on the other side of the road, but it happens.  So what should the person that's coming the wrong way do?  They should go on the inside because they can see the oncoming traffic.  This idiot wouldn't.  Argh!! I wanted to clothesline him.

Today I was cruising down the road, within a mile of yesterday's incident, and this pervert starts wooting at some lady in her car.  Then he sticks his tongue out.  Now, I don't know if he knew her or not, but I yelled at him to knock it off.

Nice biking. Are you busted or are you just trying to save the legs?

From Burt on Tue, Apr 28, 2009 at 14:18:23 from 68.76.197.194

I'm good. Just saving the environment and my wallet.

So are you going to make riding to work a habbit? If you do, you'll have to start doing tris.

From Burt on Tue, Apr 28, 2009 at 18:19:13 from 68.76.197.194

I've done two tris since buying the bike last year. I suck at swimming, so I found a nice duathlon in Chino Valley next month; 1/2 mile run, 15 mile bike, 3 mile run.

Hey, Burt nice training, riding to work is great, but I just dont have the time, and my work is only 2 miles away how bad is that! Now its warmer I might get up earlier and make the effort! (pigs may fly) LOL

Nice one, Id clothes line him nxt time, and as for tellling the man to knock it off, can you come with me on runs, cos I need someone to tell em! I always attract some weirdo, gave up on answering back now, I just laugh at them! I had an incident y'day! :-)

Nice page title dude!

I know what you mean about idiot bicyclists, they are part of the reason that some drivers are so hostile to the rest of us on bicycles.

Do you really save money riding to work? When I was ring 32 miles per day I think I spent more money on food than I would have spent on gas :)

From Burt on Thu, Apr 30, 2009 at 19:17:29 from 68.76.197.194

I thought you'd like it RT. Since my goal is to ride 3 days a week, I can bring lunch, which generally consists of leftovers, on the days that I drive.
