Today was weird.  I was in a great mood all day yesterday.  But I was a little cranky for sleeping in this morning.  So, I had a good run, but felt cranky about it.  I wanted to push the 5th mile because I usually just do my fast miles on mile 2.  I was pleased with my effort.

Time - 45:16 (avg. pace 8:13)

Splits - 8:42, 8:22, 8:24, 8:24, 6:54, 4:31 for 0.52 (8:46 pace)

It's ok to be cranky once in awhile. Nice pace that late into the run.

Do you think being cranky has anything to do with yesterday's problem?

I think AZDesertmonsoon's web site was informative. String bikini may be the key to your success and your cranky feelings. ..... unless you're cranky because you didn't have a wedgie.

Thanks Seth! Oh also, yesterday when I was riding my bike home these two guys were riding in this Toyota Scion (I think that's the same kind of ride QP has), and they had a sign on their back window that said HORNBLASTERS. The driver was saying stuff on a megaphone and blasting the horn while the passenger was filming it. They came up behind me and said, "Sir. You're on my bike. You stole my bike." I'll admit it did startle me a little, but hopefully I didn't jump too much. Then they turned into the Safeway parking lot and I thought about following them. I kept going though. Then I had turned on the side road to my house and I heard them blast someone. I couldn't believe they were turning on the same road I was on. So I slowed way down for them to catch up to me. The stupid driver once again used the same line. This time I stopped and got ready to punch the passenger in the face. When they saw I meant business he quickly apologized and said, "have a good day, sir." So, if you see any YouTube videos of a mean looking nerdy dude on a cheap bike, it's me.

QP - I didn't notice a wedgie today. Do you think the distribution center will have string bikinis in my size?

I'm packing your extra pair of shoes, and your angry eyes just in case.

LOL.

I've heard you can special order for shorter waists or shorter/longer legs...maybe they've got something with a really short leg and short waist..like a string bikini. You should call them & ask.

Scions appeal to a certain variety of people. Most of which need to be forced to walk the plank & have their cars commandeered by pirates.
