Today's run felt much better.  Sleep is the key.  I took a Gu before my run.  Still don't think they do anything.  Backtracked a little to get a drink from the magic water fountain.  Saw my partner at work.  He works the 12 hours in the division that I do while I'm at home for my 12 hours.  When I got to half a mile to go, I pulled my Garmin out of my pocket and my pocket was hanging out.  With a quarter mile to go I saw my wife and her sister going on their walk.  I slowed down to say hi and my pervert sister-in-law grabbed my pocket.  The joke was on her as she got a handful of pocket sweat.

Burt,

You are doing awesome with getting your miles in! Seems like you are back with us (running that is). This is good news!

pocket sweat, sleep and that magical drink (that isn't always so magical) - awesome.

PRE - I just wish I had more time to read everyone's blog all the time like I used to.

RAD - I must have sweaty hips.

I enjoyed reading all your blogs for the week. Between bed-wetting and sweaty pockets, you've managed to make me laugh twice, which is two times more that I had all day.

Thanks for the smiles. I think gu works, but I've only used it after running 4 or 5 miles, not before a run.

Maybe that magic fountain magically produces sweat.

QP - Glad I could make you smile :)

Chad - Are you saying when you drink from the magic water fountain, you sweat. Or that sweat comes out of the magic water fountain?

I don't know, does it taste salty?

Your hips don't lie.

Nice job, Mr. Burt
