Today I ran with JulieC.  Not the blogger JulieC.  The one on my Ragnar team.  She's the only one that came to run this morning.  I tried out my compression sleeves for the first time.  They worked all right.  My calves didn't fall off, so that was good.  The run was nice and slow at about 11:30 pace.  The sun stayed behind the clouds the whole time, too.

Boy it was humid though!

From Burt on Sat, Aug 13, 2011 at 22:21:25 from 72.223.91.148

You're not kidding! I told JulieC that by the time we got done, she's going to be glad that we are in different vans.

I am glad you still have your calves, that would be horrible for children to see (calves laying all over the roadway).

It was pretty darn humid today, worse than that though, for me, the sun was out (first time all week). Good job getting it done Burp.

I think you have me confused with someone else Bonnie.

That picture...is just sick and wrong. I may not be able to continue coming to your site. *shudder*

Nice run in the humidity and taking care of those calves.

No way ... that is so funny Burk.

i think the elephant and the pale white woman in purple was a bit easier on the eyes than your current picture but... thanks for removing it.

i ran with julieC once. the blogger julieC. what what.

there are always a bunch of calves strewn about on the jordan river parkway. ick. thanks for wearing your sleeves.

From SlowJoe on Sun, Aug 14, 2011 at 15:18:23 from 75.109.104.60

And here I've been using duct tape to hold my calves on this whole time. Thanks for informing me of this new technology.

From Burt on Sun, Aug 14, 2011 at 19:17:37 from 72.223.91.148

allie - It was my pleasure to remove it. I was getting sick of staring at my face all day. Or was an elephant's butt?

Joe - The only problem with duct tape is when you go to tear it off. Glad I could get you with the times.

Just getting ready to retire for the evening when I clicked over to your new picture. Might as well stay up all night now.

Thanks for clicking. See you in your dreams.

"sweet dreams are made of these. who am I to disagree?"

Why is it everytime I get to the place where I should leave a comment, I can't even remember if you mentioned running?

Ah, yes. You swam in the humid Arizona heat while a hairless dog tried to chew off your calves, but some sleeves kept them from falling on the ground. Nice run :-)

From Burt on Mon, Aug 15, 2011 at 15:12:45 from 206.19.214.144

Oh, is this a running blog?

From The Quiet Pirate on Mon, Aug 15, 2011 at 15:31:46 from 65.191.246.68

Evidently, it is. I just get easily distracted...like the dog in the movie "UP." Squirrel...
