The cycle continues.  I get over being sick and my back goes out.  My back gets better, I get sick again.  My back was a little sore after the Adventure Run, so I thought a few days of rest would make it better.  It was getting better.  But now it's worse.  It was so bad last night I thought I was going to die.  I've decided that after my next Ragnar I'm calling it quits.

You can't quit. You're the Ambassador of Ragnar.

Have you had your back looked at by some sort of doctor?

From Burt on Mon, Sep 28, 2015 at 20:16:18 from 174.17.86.87

Does a chiropractor count?

From DaleG on Mon, Sep 28, 2015 at 20:32:14 from 66.87.127.239

I was going to say "maybe even a chiropractor" but I didn't want to offend any chiropractors that may read this. Lol

I thought you didn't do the Adventure Run, you only volunteered. How'd you hurt your back? And totally laughing at the chiropractor comment. I can empathize, sometimes I get that type of comment about being an optometrist.

We have to do all the heavy lifting! You need to show me more pity.

Sorry Burt, that sounds like a rough cycle. Can you ride a bike without hurting it? Seems like getting in some form of exercise should have positive effects for the back and immune system.... Of course, I'm not a doctor, made bad grades in science, and I don't really know much about you, but I feel perfectly comfortable giving medical advice.

Ride a bike? That would mean I need to pump up my flat tires. Ugh!!

No quitting... I miss your witty comments!

How's your back?

From Burt on Wed, Oct 14, 2015 at 17:38:46 from 184.101.98.55

Holt - I miss your pretty face.

Dale - back starting feeling better two days ago. Now I'm getting another cold :)

From flatlander on Mon, Oct 19, 2015 at 15:56:02 from 198.207.244.102

New week now, so no back pain and no cold?

From Burt on Tue, Oct 20, 2015 at 10:50:22 from 174.17.217.191

I actually went running today. Well, does 16 minute miles count as running?
