Recovery run from Saturday.  Nice and easy 3 miles without a Garmin.  It was a nice run even though it was windy and there were a few sprinkles.  Yet, it was still 62°.  Here's a picture from the turn around point of my Saturday South Mountain extravaganza.  Panorama style!

One or more asterisks may be used to strike out portions of a word to avoid offending...

Nice panaromic pic, Burt!

Smooth - you're the best!

Allie, sorry I made you open Pandora's box :(

From ChrisM on Mon, Mar 21, 2011 at 16:51:39 from 82.26.212.49

plural of asterisk (more than three)

asteriskemmata

PS The photo needs the discontinuities smoothing out so it is more continuous in the eye-norm

From flatlander on Mon, Mar 21, 2011 at 20:46:57 from 198.207.244.102

Thanks for the photo, makes me feel sorry for myself every time you post one of those.

From Burt on Mon, Mar 21, 2011 at 21:23:04 from 206.19.214.144

Chris - Cut me some slack! I only have Microsoft Paint!

Flat - I live to bring you down.

From Little Engine That Could on Mon, Mar 21, 2011 at 21:37:56 from 72.210.73.7

I lived in Tucson and frequently went to Phoenix to hike South Mountain and also camel back. I miss that scenery. Keep posting those awesome pictures!

From AZDesertmonsoon on Tue, Mar 22, 2011 at 00:05:15 from 63.226.53.170

You should do the hidden valley loop.

From Burt on Tue, Mar 22, 2011 at 00:32:58 from 72.223.90.79

Deb - I've never hiked Camelback. But I had a nice view of it from my office when I worked in Phoenix.

AZDM - The Hidden Valley loop is called that for a reason. The first time I tried it, I got lost. It's not really runable.

From DaleG on Tue, Mar 22, 2011 at 01:03:52 from 152.216.7.5

If I'm ever in that neck of the desert, I'll run the trails with you. Looks inviting.

From The Quiet Pirate on Tue, Mar 22, 2011 at 11:08:31 from 152.26.59.252

How I wish I was there in that photo running the trails and looking out on that awesome view..... dream on, pirate girl, dream on....

From Rhett on Tue, Mar 22, 2011 at 12:23:05 from 74.36.33.52

Cool picture.

From ChrisM on Tue, Mar 22, 2011 at 12:34:15 from 192.171.148.35

You can fix it in paint, there is a button to change the colour of an individual pixel, only a couple of hundred pixels to fix :D

From Burt on Tue, Mar 22, 2011 at 12:49:40 from 206.19.214.144

Dale - You're always invited to AZ. Wait, are you Mexican?

QP - The view from the top is awesome. You can see all of downtown Phoenix including Bank One Ball Park. I know how much you love the D-backs.

Rhett - Thanks. I took like 6 pictures with my cell phone, but only ended up needing to use 3 of them.

Chris - Okay, what you just did was the opposite of cutting me some slack.

From The Quiet Pirate on Tue, Mar 22, 2011 at 14:16:53 from 152.26.59.252

D-backs? I'm not so sure about. T-backs? All the way!

From april27 on Tue, Mar 22, 2011 at 19:19:29 from 99.188.251.180

From Burt on Tue, Mar 22, 2011 at 19:38:38 from 206.19.214.144

QP - Tea bags.

April - Pretty nice, eh? Where's the snow?
