Pretty nice outside at 2pm.  Not quite 80°.  I had to run this one by myself since only Facebook jokers wanted to run with me today.  Bad timing on the run.  I came back into the neighborhood to see that the elementary school was getting out.  I got to the cross walk just as my daughters did.  They wouldn't make eye contact with me.  When we got away from the rest of the kids I asked them, "Are you guys embarrassed of me because I'm sweating so much?"  In unison they said, "Yes."

I bet if you pressed them further, they would reveal even more reasons to be embarrassed:) BTW, your common mean comments are wearing off on me. I find myself saying mean things right and left to everyone all over the blog- thanks to you. I take no accountability. Have a good day!:)

What? Today I told you that you have a pretty little head.

What's with all the running this week?

From Burt on Wed, Apr 11, 2012 at 16:37:51 from 72.223.93.158

Crazy, huh? I just don't want a repeat of the disaster I had at my last Ragnar.

Burt, I would pick my daughter up from high school in running tights and a bright yellow running jacket. I would make sure I got of the car so all of her friends could see the manly man that I am. She still cringes when I bring it up, and that was 8 years ago.

And that Rye, is why you are where you are today :-)

You do sweat A LOT. I'd be embarrassed too.

What? kids get embarrassed of us in our running gear? crap...I need a new wardrobe I think all I own is running clothes. I mean c'mon with so many free t-shirts why go shopping?!?

From Burt on Thu, Apr 12, 2012 at 16:01:10 from 72.223.93.158

Chad - Why do you and RAD always comment on my blog one after the other? Are you the same person?

RAD - Yep. I got rid of most of my other shirts and now have mostly running shirts. Oh, and I have another gift certificate for a free pair of shoes that I need to get :)

From Dan on Thu, Apr 12, 2012 at 20:26:56 from 24.209.83.20

Burt- they certainly do not realize the level of embarrassment you could bestow upon them... right??

From Burt on Fri, Apr 13, 2012 at 09:20:48 from 72.223.93.158

Some day they'll realize, Dan. Someday they'll realize.
