Nice job. Why 2.94?

From Burt on Fri, Oct 17, 2008 at 12:12:19

It's just a little loop around my new neighborhood. There's another one I run from time to time that is 5.56. So most of my runs will be a combination of some sorts of those numbers.

Plus since I'm training for a 5k run as part of my upcoming triathlon, I'm concentrating on that smaller distance.

One last thing, Hot Rod was a very funny movie, but certainly was not the most awesome movie ever!

You're right it's not, but it's a scientific fact that Kung Fu Hustle is.

Hot Rod gets better every time you watch it. So for us, it's REALLY good.

And kung fu hustle is the best. BEST.

Burt, when is your 5k?

From Burt on Fri, Oct 17, 2008 at 13:34:20

I like Chris Parnell's tattoo and his explanation of how it's "plausible."

I saw the previews for Kung Fu Hustle, and I don't know that I'll ever watch it. Are you sure you weren't going through a wonderful time in your life when you watched it, and now you equate that with it being the BEST?

Last year I ran a 5k back in my hometown of Kingman, AZ. This year I bought a road bike to help offset the cost of the sky rocketing gas prices. So I have decided to do the whole triathlon this year. It is November 8th. We'll see how it goes.
