Last night (because I'm writing this Wednesday morning) ended up being a long night with the first planning meeting of the year for the Sharing Down Syndrome Arizona Walk.  I wanted to get a run in before my P90X workout, but it didn't work out.  I did Plyometrics X.  Now I know why most people give up.  Wow, I'm sore!

I also just got news that a friend of mine lost her job last week and is in the hospital.  I'm not sure if whatever's wrong with her caused her to lose her job or if she lost her job and did something crazy that ended her up in the hospital.  Time will tell.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend. I hope it's nothing too serious. I also hope that when you do get a chance to run again (today, perhaps?) that it will relieve some stress for you! Just sing in your head and throw your hands in the air :)

Thanks Beth. Just reading your blog relieved some stress for me. :)

Sorry about your friend Burt! I hope she is okay. Life gets so rough sometimes!

You are wonderful to start the planning for the Down Syndrome walk. Way to go Burty-Burt! :)

Thanks Amy! Don't worry. I'll be asking for donations soon and that should bring about an awkward silence.

Good job on the P90X and good job on the planning the walk.

Too bad about your friend. Go give her a pep talk.

My sister is in the hospital, but she didn't lose her job, so you friend must not be my sister.

Glad you got in a work out!

I'm glad it relieved some stress for you! Every now and then, we all need one of those "glorious" runs. After jamming my toe into a door today like the klutz I am, I doubt tomorrow's run will be quite as spiritual an experience ;).

Hahahaa! How is your friend doing? I hope better!!!

From Burt on Thu, Jul 28, 2011 at 13:12:14 from 206.19.214.144

Dale - Nope. Not your sister. But that would be cool if it was.

April - I am so sore now. I could barely get off the couch last night.

Beth - sorry about the toe :(

Amy - I don't know how she's doing :(
