It all started last night when I went to rent Dinner with Schmucks at the Redbox.  I took little Emily with me.  She is so observant about everything that we take for granted.  She makes me appreciate things more.  The movie was funny, but it seems every movie I watch nowadays  I have to put the disclaimer in that it was also irreverent, and I wouldn't let my kids watch it.

I ran the movie back.  That means instead of heading east like I normally do, I went west.  This allowed me to get to the corner of Pueblo and Lindsay at the exact same moment this gangsta looking guy got there.  Now, I'm not saying he was a gangster.  I don't know.  But I am saying that he is what I imagine a gangster would look like.  So, he stopped when he got there, and I wondered if he was going to cross the road with me.  But I also noticed that the light was blinking so maybe he was going to wait for the next signal phase.  However, when the light turned green for me to cross, he crossed too, only he went the wrong way.  Luckily the cars were watching him, and let him pass.  Conclusion: all gangsters are morons.  Not schmucks because I just learned what one of those was, but morons.

I typed in a comment, and then deleted it. Your Emily is a darling child!

Dale - I know you are an OG, but I meant no offense.

April - It was dark in the truck, and my truck is so old that sometimes the dashboard vibrates before I get it into 5th gear. Everytime it would vibrate she would grab my arm and pretend she was scared. Then as we walked into Fry's Marketplace there's this cool air that blows down on you. She thought that was so fun.

Burt talking of irreverent things.... Hum

From ChrisM on Tue, Apr 05, 2011 at 16:01:28 from 82.26.212.49

Did you have a schmate around your waist?

Did you know that Fry's electricals in Stanford has the sinc function in its logo?

From Burt on Tue, Apr 05, 2011 at 17:19:19 from 206.19.214.144

Rye - there's a fine line between crude humor and crude crudeness. I never cross the line.

Chris - Yes. I knew that.

As a gangster, I am offended by your comment.

From Kelli on Tue, Apr 05, 2011 at 22:54:54 from 71.219.97.85

I like irreverent, it reminds me of church!

From Burt on Tue, Apr 05, 2011 at 23:17:07 from 72.223.90.79

Yeah, but Joe, you're an American/Italian mobster type gangster. That's respectable.

Kelli - Aren't your kids little angels in church?

FAR from it!

That reminds me Burt, I've been meaning to invite you to dinner with some of my colleagues.

From Burt on Wed, Apr 06, 2011 at 13:43:16 from 206.19.214.144

Would this dinner include concrete boots?
