I was a little worried when I stepped out the door at 2pm to go running that it would be super hot.  It was 91º the other day.  But it has been cooling down.  I was pleasantly surprised when my thermometer read 70º.  I brought a water bottle with me and I was taking a small swig every half mile for the first half of the run, then every quarter mile for the second half.  I bypassed the magic water fountain.  Gastrically.  Everything felt pretty good.  As usual, I was running slow.  When you run slow, you have so much time to think about funny things to post on your blog.  You also have so much time to forget the funny things you thought of to post on your blog.

We might have to come up with a new blog title for you.

IF it's good enough - I'll change it! :)

Burt- not sure what I was expecting when I clicked on the hyperlink for "gastrically," but I feel like I've been rick-rolled. What was I expecting???

I always forget the great ideas I had while I was running. Then they'll come back a week later on another run, only to be forgotten again. Part of the reason I'm so quiet- I can't remember stuff.

From Burt on Tue, Apr 03, 2012 at 15:47:21 from 72.223.93.158

Remember that time I really rick rolled everyone?

So Burt, how is the wife? Hope that she is recovering ok......sorry for my concern with your wife..... it's the b____p thing coming out in me. I hate that!

From SlowJoe on Tue, Apr 03, 2012 at 20:16:12 from 69.131.141.92

This was the funniest blog entry I've never seen.

From Burt on Tue, Apr 03, 2012 at 20:47:15 from 174.235.133.156

Rye - it's ok if someone is concerned more with my wife's welfare than they are with mine. She's getting better every day. It won't be long and it will be okay for me to make fat jokes.

Joe - wait til I run my next race in drag.

From Tara on Wed, Apr 04, 2012 at 14:46:09 from 159.212.71.77

Gastrically. I love that it auto-highlighted that word. Nice run Burt!

Rye- I'm glad you keep your status secret. For all we know, it's a burp thing anyway. That is better. I believe I owe you a peom.

His name is Ryan and he likes to burp. Shame on you to confuse him with a lurp!

He shows his concern with worries of Burt's wife. Burt should just tell him to go and get a life!

He has a secret that no one can know. Don't try to connect the dots, you'll just be slow.

How leaves comments to Burt, no one can figure out. We all wonder if it's just a kind bout.

Rye is a runner, a friend, and b___p who is clearly not a lurp. We like him all the same even if he burps.

No grammar police allowed.

Gosh Tara, I'm flattered! My only complaint is that my secret is out now..............I really should just mind my own business. Frrrrrrrrp
