I saw Joe walking down the canal today.  Not SlowJoe.  Joe is a guy I go to church with.  He has some mental issues.  He's real nice.  He's just not all there.  The first time I met him was about a week after we moved.  My wife and I went to an adult activity (not the kind you're thinking of) that we have in the church every so often.  Maybe once or twice a year.  As we were driving home, he flagged us down and asked for a ride.  I said, "Hop in, buddy."  It was pretty easy to tell that there was something different about they guy, but he was pretty sharp.  He knew all the streets by heart to get back in his neighborhood.  About a month ago he asked for a ride home from church.  Then he asked if he could come over for dinner.  I told him we were already having company over, but we could bring him a plate.  So later that afternoon when I brought him the food he answered the door in his underwear.  Glad I didn't send one of my girls to the door.

Emily wanted to run with me today, but she got distracted and did something else.  When I got home she remembered that she wanted to run with me so she put her shoes on and made me go back outside.  We just ran up and down the driveway while we blew her "duck whistle".  Then we took our shoes off and laid on the driveway in the shade watching the clouds.  I haven't done that in forever, and it was very enjoyable.  Then I went and cleaned the leaves out of the pool.  After that I took a nice refreshing dip.  Feels good to relax every now and then.

Doesn't everyone answer their door in their underwear? You're the weird one.

Watching the clouds...love it.

No, Tara. They don't. Also, if your seamstress reaches really far up your thigh, that's also not normal.
