I had every intention of running today, but it wasn't until 11:30pm that I decided I'd better get out the door.  I didn't have time to change, so I just wore the street clothes I was wearing.  I put on my headlamp to practice for Ragnar next week.  I don't like to run on the Sabbath.  I had about 22 minutes before midnight so I decided to run for 10 minutes and then turn around.  Not running on Sundays is a personal choice for me.  It's one of my ways of expressing my devotion to God.  I know some people choose to run on Sundays because they are grateful for their health, bodies, the beauty of the earth, etc.  And that's fine.  One of our greatest gifts from God is our free agency and our right to govern ourselves.  God is merciful and though keeping the Sabbath Day holy can vary in activity from person to person, He does require our complete devotion to which we must put forth the faith and effort to find out what that is.

Very nice, couldn't have said it better myself. Which Ragnar are you doing?

I'll bet you could have. And hopefully there isn't any false doctrine in there. But I'm doing the McDowell Mountain trail relay. I just hope I'll be ready for the 8.5 mile loop :)
