I finally got out for a run.  It's been years since I ran.  I think.  It felt pretty good.  But at a 9:14 pace, I don't expect that it would feel bad.  39° is just about too cold for me.  Well, too cold for shorts and a short sleeved T.  But I wore them anyway.

Also I saw RUN2DAY as I was driving down the street in my old neighborhood.  He was running, of course.  Merry Christmas everyone.  Remember the reason for the season :)

Merry Christmas, it's been quite a ride for you this year but you've been cheerful throughout. Really glad you're on the blog and that I got to meet you once.

From Burt on Sat, Dec 24, 2011 at 13:25:36 from 72.223.93.131

RT - You too. And I will never come up with just one name to call you. It will always randomly be, RT, Trap, Mike, or Mr. Kym.

Tracy - Merry Christmas. I don't know what to call you now that you're moving up in the ranks at school. Mrs. N? Captain? Sir?

Amy - I'm dreaming of a white Christmas. So, another run in shorts with my white legs exposed will be dreamy.

Dale - I almost forgot that I like to run.

Adam Corndogelius - you can never drink too much egg nog. Unless you're lactose intolerant.

Rye - we'll be having the missionaries over for dinner tonight. I'm sure they're both from Idaho.

April - ok. Just for you ;)

Tara - thanks. Sorry for being so mean to you all the time.

Bonnie - May your Christmas be full of green cacti and blind javelinas.

Flat - I wouldn't change things for the world :)

Merry Christmas Burt to you and your family. I hope Santa brings you some cool running stuff.

From Burt on Sat, Dec 24, 2011 at 20:51:08 from 72.223.93.131

Brent - the path leads to eternal glory crowned in the midst of the prophets of old.

Rhett - I just got a new pair of Saucony Hurricane 13's and two new pairs of running shorts with zippers on their pockets, which my wife thinks are a tad short, but in a sexy way.

I know, right? This cold weather is so confusing! Because it's cold so I get bundled up, but then I get hot so I take off my bundles, then I get cold again. There's no happy middle!!

Merry Christmas!!

RIH - fat guys like me have an extra layer of blubber that helps regulate a warm body temperature.

Burt- hope your Christmas was wonderful. I'm sure Santa would have given you a high five if he would have been out while you were running. Your blog is a great gift; smiles & laughs every day- the blog that keeps on giving :-)
