I didn't get a run in Saturday like I should have.  In the morning was my daughter's baptism and confirmation.  In the afternoon I did the temple work for my brother-in-law Jesus.  It was a pretty good weekend.  Yesterday was spent in anticipation that the crazy cast of Celebrity Apprentice wouldn't ruin the image of my snake oil company.

So this morning I thought I would have a great run being well rested and all.  But immediately I didn't feel too hot.  I felt like I was going to hurl so I kept it slow.  At the half way point I had pressure in my bowels.  I was disappointed because I tried to pinch a loaf before I left.  But I tried to keep my mind on something else to distract me.  It kept coming back to a certain blogger's race report who had colon bleeding after her marathon.  That didn't help much.

Time - 48:58 (avg. pace 8:53)

Splits - 8:53, 8:49, 8:52, 8:55, 8:50, 9:06

Well, after not mentioning poop even once last week I was beginning to wonder what was going on with you. Any run's a good run, even if your bowels disappointed you.

From DaleG on Mon, Mar 28, 2011 at 13:37:00 from 67.2.6.207

I, too, was starting to wonder if we'd hear anymore poop stories. Ahhh, the colon bleeding after a marathon is familiar to me, especially after St. George '09. Good times.

Not a fun poo story after all...what happened while I was gone??

From Lily on Mon, Mar 28, 2011 at 14:28:57 from 67.199.178.210

Just when I thought you couldn't get any worse. I'm going to start calling you 'the baker'. SICK!

From Burt on Mon, Mar 28, 2011 at 16:00:55 from 206.19.214.144

Joe - I am so much more than scatology and coprology.

Dale - bloody stool is no fun.

Karen - you're a week behind (not to be confused with a weak behind). You'll never catch up.

Lily - you ain't seen nothing yet!

That is a lot of spirituality for one day. Don't over do it!

Fecal fixated friend,

Fast fix- flatulence.

Fundamental fix- fiber.

Rest in peace Jesus. My condolences to you and your entire family Burt.

you should have stopped at the bank.

From Burt on Mon, Mar 28, 2011 at 22:15:45 from 72.223.90.79

Rye - It's all good. We went and watched a rated R movie afterwards to balance it out. Just kidding.

Julie - We're all family here. There's never TMI.

Fly - say that 10 times fast. I need to read your race report.

allie - and made a deposit? bahahaha!

Nice work for groundhog-ing it nearly the whole way!

So did you approve of the results of the CA? I was pretty shocked they chose the gay commercial, but I'm sure it will get viewed on You Tube over a million times more than the ladies' heartfelt tearjerker commercial.

From Burt on Tue, Mar 29, 2011 at 14:12:51 from 206.19.214.144

I did not approve! If the cofounders were the only ones voting, the girl's would have won for sure. They nailed it. But it came down to letting the team coordinators and other higher-ups vote, so they voted for the one they liked best.

I saw my team coordinator in the audience. His cheshire cat grin is hard to miss. I texted him and said, "Tell me what team you voted for, and your answer will determine whether I continue with this business or not." LOL!

Geesh! I've been doing lunges....oh, and trying to read the past blogs....

From Burt on Wed, Mar 30, 2011 at 18:06:48 from 206.19.214.144

Lunges are the leading cause of colon bleeding. Light bulbs are second. Gerbils are third.

So says Richard Gere.

From Burt on Wed, Mar 30, 2011 at 18:27:18 from 206.19.214.144

LOL!
