3.42

Even though I went a lot slower and less distance today, I think I sweated more than ever.  I saw a couple of lizards, but the highlight of the morning was the baby gecko we caught in the house.  I was going to feed it to one of our snakes, but I didn't have the heart.  I let it go outside.

Time - 28:40 (avg. pace 8:22)

Splits - 8:33, 8:22, 8:17, (8:12 for 0.42 miles)

Lani - Thanks for getting that song stuck in my head all day.

Leslie - You're always an ego boost!

Good boy on the 'release' of the Gecko! His mom will be happy :) Nice job on the weight loss and running miles, always impressive!

Come to think of it RAD, I've never seen your before and after pictures. You better get on that.

Hey Burt, nice job on the weight loss. Sorry for all the silence, work, work, work, ARGH!

From Burt on Wed, Sep 02, 2009 at 16:14:50 from 68.76.197.194

No worries Mike. Keep up the cross training.

Poor hungry snake!

From Burt on Wed, Sep 02, 2009 at 20:22:41 from 68.76.197.194

Finally somebody shows some sympathy for the snake! I'm sure there will be a "today one of our snakes died" post, but it won't be as sad as the "today our puppy died" post.

From RAD on Wed, Sep 02, 2009 at 20:37:07 from 76.27.12.70

Burt, I'd NEVER post any before pictures...they're scary! You can see the after pics on my blog :) Not so bad now, but still hoping to shed the last 5 - they'll never leave!

From Eric Day on Thu, Sep 03, 2009 at 09:18:27 from 189.169.237.133

The gecko will probably go back inside into the snake house and end up being lunch anyways. So you just saved its misery for a couple of day maybe?
