Does anyone else wear compression sleeves?  I guess the only reason I'm wearing them is to look cool.  They feel like they're giving me shin splints.

Today I said hi to the good looking crazy lady at the bus stop.  She said the nicest good morning back to me, almost like she was singing.

Get those Halloween decorations up everyone!

Nice run Burt!

Do you think there's a one stop shop that sells compression sleeves and Halloweed decorations? I need both.

I'm curious if the sleeves do much but could definitely use the cool factor.

From ChrisM on Mon, Oct 03, 2011 at 14:56:42 from 86.10.81.85

I'm so cool I'm hot.

From Burt on Mon, Oct 03, 2011 at 15:20:01 from 68.14.209.26

ACorn - Try the 99 cent store. They have everything. Stuff there is pretty cheap. They usually charge me $1.25 for everything.

Chris - Don't forget to go trick or treating on Oct. 31st. I'm sure Halloween is England's most beloved holiday.

From ChrisM on Mon, Oct 03, 2011 at 15:47:49 from 86.10.81.85

we have £1 stores, everything a pound!

From Burt on Mon, Oct 03, 2011 at 15:52:31 from 68.14.209.26

But how much does everything cost??? I'm not worried about weight.

From april27 on Mon, Oct 03, 2011 at 19:52:14 from 99.188.251.180

You should get the tattoo sleeves then u would be sooo BA

From Burt on Mon, Oct 03, 2011 at 20:06:53 from 68.14.209.26

Even Rattletrap would be afraid of me then.

From Steve Piccolo on Mon, Oct 03, 2011 at 23:29:41 from 70.90.110.5

I thought you were supposed to wear sleeves on your arms?

From Burt on Mon, Oct 03, 2011 at 23:34:46 from 72.223.91.148

Back in the olden days, Steve.

From Dan on Mon, Oct 03, 2011 at 23:36:01 from 24.209.83.20

I wear compression socks- makes me feel manly. I am sure you understand.

From SlowJoe on Tue, Oct 04, 2011 at 14:35:17 from 132.3.53.68

You're lucky, my crazy bus stop lady just gives me menacing glares. If I stop blogging all of a sudden, it's because she killed me.

From Hamdog Alum on Tue, Oct 04, 2011 at 16:41:08 from 68.185.190.140

I wear compression socks when it's cold out and I'm feeling achy. Same with the compression shorts.

From Burt on Tue, Oct 04, 2011 at 17:00:17 from 68.14.209.26

Dan - Only the manliest of men wear them.

Joe - Give her a good game. I'm sure that's all she wants.

Ham - I think compression shorts will make you feel the opposite of manly.

From allie on Tue, Oct 04, 2011 at 22:04:31 from 24.10.191.18

i wear them sometimes. they usually work for me except in CIM last december. i like wearing them more for recovery than for actual running.

i just hung a giant stuffed witch from my front porch.

From rAtTLeTrAp on Tue, Oct 04, 2011 at 22:14:54 from 24.22.239.183

I've never worn compression sleeves, socks, or shorts. I don't get it, seems to me like it would just inhibit circulation. That can't be good.

You don't need to wear anything to scare me Burt... wait, that didn't come out right...

From Burt on Wed, Oct 05, 2011 at 16:10:20 from 68.14.209.26

allie - you can recover while you're running, right? So you wear them when you're not running? What did you stuff the witch with?

Trap - Beware of hairy streakers.

From allie on Wed, Oct 05, 2011 at 16:32:26 from 161.38.218.168

burt - yes, i wear them at work. and i wear them when i go out on the town.

i stuffed the witch with stuffing. stovetop.

From Chad Robinson on Wed, Oct 05, 2011 at 16:39:56 from 50.73.39.89

I wear compression shorts...

From Rob on Wed, Oct 05, 2011 at 16:45:09 from 206.71.84.68

I wear compression hats. They keep my head from swelling when I'm just feeling too awesome.

From Burt on Wed, Oct 05, 2011 at 16:49:30 from 68.14.209.26

allie - tasty.

Chad and Rob - You both have a one day ban from my blog, starting...........NOW!

From ChrisM on Wed, Oct 05, 2011 at 17:00:55 from 86.10.81.85

Did Oprah Winfrey wear compression shorts when she ran the marathon?

From Chad Robinson on Wed, Oct 05, 2011 at 17:04:11 from 50.73.39.89

Rob, I think Burt is going to have to borrow your compression hat to keep his head from exploding from images of Oprah.

From Rob on Wed, Oct 05, 2011 at 17:05:01 from 206.71.84.68

But this is only my first day back from my 3 month ban.

From Burt on Wed, Oct 05, 2011 at 17:37:00 from 68.14.209.26

Chris - Ban!

Chad and Rob - you two should marry each other. Then Rob's name would be Rob Robinson.

From ACorn on Wed, Oct 05, 2011 at 17:39:53 from 68.66.168.22

Thanks for not banning me. I promise to not compress any part of my body.

From Burt on Wed, Oct 05, 2011 at 17:45:39 from 68.14.209.26

You are dangerously close to a ban for not having any Halloween decorations.

From ACorn on Wed, Oct 05, 2011 at 17:47:53 from 68.66.168.22

My living quarters are pretty scary without Halloween decorations.

From Rob on Wed, Oct 05, 2011 at 18:46:49 from 166.205.9.182

Why do you assume I'd take his name?

From Metcalf Running on Fri, Oct 07, 2011 at 15:35:14 from 207.225.192.66

I wore them when I had shin splints they really seemed to help.
