I started a novice strength training program today.  I'm supposed to do it three times a week.  Planks are hard.

2 sets of crunches (12 reps)

2 sets of modified planks (30 sec.)

2 sets of modified pushups (12 reps)

2 isometric shoulder holds with towel

2 sets of standing adduction (12 reps)

2 sets of lying adduction (12 reps)

Wow dude, you'll be ripped if you keep on it. I do pilates crunches, and some for the obliques and they work awesomeness like nothing I've ever seen.

Great workout. If you can keep that up three times a week you will see a lot of improvement.

I'm thinking you should change your profile photo to your "before" photo to give you more inspiration.

I posted the before picture on my blog.

I have to laugh at the planks comment. About 8 years ago I was showing my husband a picture and description of planks in some fitness magazine. He said that they would a piece of cake, so we tried them. They are hard!! We both struggled to make it to a minute, and he has abs of steel!

Good luck with your fitness training!
