I was up pretty late last night.  I couldn't sleep after my P90X workout.  It was pretty intense and especially hard to do after a big dinner.  But I had no problem getting up this morning.  I ran the 3-mile neighborhood loop.  I saw so many people I knew.  I saw so many people I've named.  I'm really going to miss this place when I move in a couple of weeks.

Time - 24:57 (avg. pace 8:19)

I saw allie out with her new beau Topher.

But I’m gonna miss you like a child misses their blanket

But I’ve got to get a move on with my life

It’s time to be a big girl now

And big girls don’t cry

Don’t cry, don’t cry, don’t cry

From Ericka on Tue, May 11, 2010 at 13:19:07 from 174.52.85.1

Not gonna lie, I'm not a huge Fergie fan, but this song is my guilty pleasure.

Nice running kido

From KP on Tue, May 11, 2010 at 13:20:31 from 65.208.22.26

i don't like fergie either! i was going to post the "don't cry for me argentina" lyrics but in googling this one showed up and it made me giggle. so, i shared it instead.

From SlowJoe on Tue, May 11, 2010 at 13:24:25 from 131.59.200.80

I hope you at least get to give Fat Slob a big goodbye hug.

From Lily on Tue, May 11, 2010 at 14:05:02 from 67.199.181.73

Why do you have to move?

From Burt on Tue, May 11, 2010 at 14:37:17 from 206.19.214.144

KP - I always laugh whenever I hear that silly lyric about the blanket from that silly song. You know what else is funny? My co-worker and I have been singing Don't Cry for Me Argentina around the office the last couple of days.

Ericka - When is Josse gonna have that baby?

Joe - I totally have to now.

Lily - We want to be closer to family. It's going to be so much nicer.

From RAD on Tue, May 11, 2010 at 15:14:19 from 67.172.229.125

Nice work on those 3 and you'll have to start saying 'good-bye' as you pass your fellow runners instead of 'good-morning'.

Where are you moving to? Closer to us...

From Rhett on Tue, May 11, 2010 at 16:31:51 from 74.32.222.202

Burt, I haven't been paying close enough attention, but I know you mentioned possibly moving to Kingman a while back. Is that where you are moving? Nice run after the hardcore P90X workout.

From Samantha Dean-Howard on Tue, May 11, 2010 at 17:39:33 from 84.45.216.160

Burt yeah I saw you on fb this morning thought omg it must be early hours in your end of the earth LOL

nice run

From Ericka on Tue, May 11, 2010 at 17:52:07 from 174.52.85.1

Josse's half way but you wouldn't know it, she's so small!

From Burt on Tue, May 11, 2010 at 19:10:32 from 206.19.214.144

RAD - a little bit closer to you, but not much. I'm just moving back to Mesa.

Rhett - I still haven't ruled out the possibility of going back to Kingman, but as for now, I'm staying in the Valley.

Sam - yeah, it was pretty late last night. I saw your post about having a bad night's sleep, and I thought, "I haven't even gone to sleep yet!"

Ericka - I bet she's as cute as a button. Did you know I met her in real life? Real life!

From Brent on Tue, May 11, 2010 at 22:55:45 from 168.178.30.194

Burt, happy trails to you, with Roy, finding your new running adventure.

A things to remember when venturing out on new trails: Buy a compass, don't get lost, put out bread crumbs, only go around you block, put out milk carton posters (have you seen me, with your picture) before you run, only run backwards so you can see where you just ran, slap on mega body glide to keep that friction down (don't want to start forest fires) - pull your own sag wagon of gatorade and gus as you will surely get lost and most important - make friends with every fat slob and be proactive - yell at cars before they get close, cars don't mess with crazy runners.

Stay Kool, B of BS Rools out

Serious side, happy running, hope you find good running routes and running buddies.

Brent - that's good material. You're a modern day troubadour.

From Samantha Dean-Howard on Wed, May 12, 2010 at 07:26:09 from 78.32.130.9

yeah well I slept like a log last night LOL

From allie on Wed, May 12, 2010 at 11:46:43 from 67.177.0.102

REMOVE! REMOVE! REMOVE! LOL now i see why you randomly stumbled upon my oprah pic last night.

From RivertonPaul on Wed, May 12, 2010 at 11:52:21 from 67.42.27.114

I like Big Girls Don't Cry, I use it as a grammar teaching instrument to my children, demonstrating to them that the line "I'm gonna miss you like a child misses their blanket" should be "I'm gonna miss you like a child misses his or her blanket" or "I'm gonna miss you like children miss their blankets."

From ChrisM on Wed, May 12, 2010 at 12:05:51 from 86.177.210.228

Apart from allie I don't recognise that other guy, did he used to be called Justin Timberlake?

From Scott Wesemann on Wed, May 12, 2010 at 13:08:52 from 66.239.250.209

Nice catch Allie, he's a cutie.

From Burt on Wed, May 12, 2010 at 14:02:59 from 206.19.214.144

allie - yeah, it was pretty random.

Paul - Good teaching opportunity.

Chris - Timberlake, Grace, Macguire, they're all the same dude.

Scott - she likes the wimpy smart alleck types.

From runningafterbabies on Wed, May 12, 2010 at 14:49:46 from 67.177.9.74

I love it! You are getting really good at photoshop, Burt. Don't forget to pack your blanket when you move.

From Lily on Wed, May 12, 2010 at 15:22:21 from 67.199.181.73

Burt your a photoshopaholicandIlikeit. I'll never forget the side by side of Alanis and I. Though I still think you have it wrong. I don't look like her at all...

From seeaprilrun on Wed, May 12, 2010 at 17:48:39 from 72.205.226.44

Wow Burt! You are the ultimate paparazzi. Allie's new guy is actually kinda hot.

From Burt on Wed, May 12, 2010 at 17:56:44 from 206.19.214.144

Melody - You're using the word Photoshop in the sense that most people use the word Kleenex. I don't have Photoshop. I use Microsoft Paint, which makes it all the more impressive. LOL!

Lily - You look more like Icarly. Or so I hear.

April - you should see him when he wakes up in the morning.
