I went to the Suns game last night.  It was a hard fought victory for them.  Now if they can just beat the Blazers and the Jazz I will feel a little better about their chances of getting in the playoffs.  The most important thing is that they scored over 99 points, which means two free tacos from Jack-in-the-Box.  My friend gave me his coupon, so I picked up a late night snack.  It was actually my dinner.  Again, not too healthy, but delicious.

I wanted to run more today, but I did not have time.  It was Mary's first day of track practice, and I had to get her there by 6:45am.

Dude you keep just speeding up. It won't be too long before your high school records are dust in the wind.

Burt- I LOVE tacos! You are making me want to head over to Taco Bell. I do have to say that Jack in the Box makes the WORST tacos in the history of HORRID tacos!!! They have to give them away for free!!! ;D I hope you don't die from eating them :p

From rattletrap on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 14:28:55 from 75.216.171.216

I worked at Jack in the Box in 1987 and they still make those "tacos" the same way: deep fried. That is some seriously nasty food dude.

Then again, I'm thinking about Kim-Chee soup for lunch today so I guess I don't have much room to talk :)

Hey burt, keep up the good work well done, ace training

ace= good sorry couldnt resist, ;))

You really are getting fast! Too bad you have gotten out of the Clydesdale category, you would be shattering records! So, EAT MORE TACOS!!!!!

I will send my good vibes to the Suns, I hate the Jazz.

Now, seriously, could you not have run to the mailbox and back to make it an even 3??? What will I do with you?

From Burt on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 15:34:27 from 68.76.197.194

Mike - I close my eyes. Only for a moment and the moment's gone...

Marion - LOL! I just ate Taco Bell for lunch. Probably wouldn't have, but someone else was buying.

Other Mike - I don't know why I like them so much. Around the edges the shell is harder than porcelain, and in the middle it's softer than noodles. Maybe it's because they're cheap.

Sam - You are so cracking me up today.

Kelli - I told you I was in a hurry. No time for an extra 0.04 miles. And I almost fell out of my seat from astonishment when I read that you hate the Jazz. I thought everyone in Utah loved the Jazz more than life itself. Why the hate?

From azdesertmonsoon on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 16:32:59 from 204.17.31.126

Jack in the Box Taco are chewy/crispy on the edges, but the middle part of the tortilla is soft (because it is fried after it is stuffed and therefore the tortilla is soaked), so they don't break all over the place like those inferior Taco Bell Tacos. and the waxed pouch catches anything that does spill unlike those stupid paper wrapper things at Taco Bell. If you are in search of other calorie dense high fat delectables try the Patty Melt from Whataburger. Sadly it is only available for a limited time.

From Burt on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 16:38:36 from 68.76.197.194

I am finding that you are a wealth of knowledge, AZDM. I'm going to have to get on that Whataburger. Speaking of limited time deals, McDonald's has the McRib Sandwich and Del Taco has the shrimp tacos. Those shrimp tacos are the best! And they must be good for you.

Remeber the episode of the Simpson's when Homer goes on tour with the Rib Heads to follow the Ribwich around the country? That was a good one.

From azdesertmonsoon on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 17:28:46 from 204.17.31.126

Your Simpsons knowledge clearly surpasses mine.

I haven't had a McRib Sandwich in years. I seem to remember that they were nothing at all like ribs and were made of processed meat, but because of the sauce I really liked them anyway, lol.

From Kelli on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 18:14:33 from 71.219.76.202

Do you have Taco Time? They make the BEST tacos!!

Okay, this is a long story, but I will make it as short as I can. My dad is a HUGE Celtics fan. None of my 3 brothers liked sports at all so I was the go to person to watch games with my dad. Just to annoy him, I picked a different team to love. You know my age, so can you guess which team I became a fan of??? Anyway, THAT is my team (although they kind of tick me off now so I just do not watch basketball anymore). And as far as the Jazz go, I can not stand Karl Malone (another sad day for the team I LOVED becasue of that idiot). I can not get past him when it comes to the Jazz, so I hate the Jazz. Hate is a strong word---I do not care for the Jazz. Larry Miller was AWESOME, though.

Does that make any sense at all?

From Burt on Wed, Mar 25, 2009 at 13:17:32 from 98.167.151.26

Yeah it is processed meet in the shape of ribs. I worked at McDonald's for five years. That was the beginning of the end for me.

Kelli - what the heck are you even talking about? Just kidding. My family were Laker fans growing up. That's why I decided to be a Celtic fan.

From Kelli on Wed, Mar 25, 2009 at 13:20:28 from 71.219.100.181

Ah, I must have given you too many clues. My dad is still a die hard Celtic fan. I loved the Lakers for years, then they "hired" Karl Malone for a minute (and they of course blew it in the play-offs because Karl Malone is the KING of blowing it in the play-offs, that guy stinks at crucial moments!!) Now they are juts a bunch of arrogant jerks, so I just kind of stopped watching basketball. We are going to a Jazz game with the kids in a few weeks (only because it is free to us!)

From Burt on Wed, Mar 25, 2009 at 13:35:42 from 98.167.151.26

You can thank Jake Voskuhl of the Suns that year for taking Malone out for a good thirty games. Voskuhl was such a clumsy player, he couldn't help but hurt people. Which is why I wish we played him more against Tim Duncan. When I say we, I of course mean the Suns and I, since I am a vital part of the organization.

I watched the Jazz win last night. Wasn't impressed, especially with Boozer. I thought he pimped a dunk for no reason. If you have a break away dunk and you want to do something fancy, by all means, do it. But don't hang on the rim. If you dunk over the top of someone, sure, hang on the rim a bit. Flex your muscles. Stare down your opponent. But last night Boozer was all alone under the basket, got a nice pass, and proceeded to dunk it, twist himself around on the rim, scream with primal rage, and pound his chest. It's like, dude, you dunked it. You're what, 6'10"? Wow. Go you. What statement did you just make? I'm a dork? Anyway, am I boring you yet, Kelli?

From Kelli on Wed, Mar 25, 2009 at 13:51:23 from 71.219.100.181

Wish I had watched the game so I could make fun so elegantly. But, I went to scouts instead.
