Today I made sure to do a little more than 12, just in case.  First I did my 5.65 mile loop.  Then I went in my house real fast to drag my son out of bed.  Then I went back out and did my 5.35 mile loop.  When I got to the 7 mile mark, I stopped at the park for a water break.  Then when I got home I checked to see if my son had left for the bus stop yet.  We couldn't find him, so we figured that meant yes.  But it also meant he probably snuck out the back door without eating breakfast.  I took a few swigs of Gatorade and went out to do my last mile.  I ran to the bus stop and asked my son if he ate.  He said he had a granola bar.  I waited for the bus to get there, said hi to our brand new bishop, and was off again.  I was pretty worn out by the time I was done.

On Tuesday Season 12 of the Simpson's came out on DVD.  I've got one more episode to go to finish Season 11.  My plan was to have them all watched by last night.  By I just couldn't keep myself awake to watch that last one.  So if I can't make it through a marathon of the Simpson's, how am I going to make it through a marathon running?  I can tell you my love for the Simpson's is far greater than my love for running.

Great workout Burt! How is the biggest loser going? I slipped a bit, but back on track now.

Thanks Mike. I haven't really changed my eating habits. That's my problem. But after today's workout, I'm down about 4 pounds than a couple of days ago. Could all be just water weight.

Maybe you could get a portable DVD player and play Simpsons while you run the marathon? :)

Burt, change your name to Bart, only one letter to change, life will be great living as a Simpson. A little over 12 hey, your entry could be 12+, keep em guessing. Nice run, your back in the biggest loser game, good work.

Leandra - there's a blogger named spidey pig.

Rhett - thanks. And no car doors opening up on me.

Chris - now that's the best idea I've heard in a dog's age.

Brent - If I change my name to Bart, do you think I'll lose more weight?

Nice run, Burt! Excellent way to combine great parenting with great running. There really is a way to do it all!

Em - they key to childraising is the beatings. I find there is a direct proportion to the amount of obedience your kids give you and the level of pain from the spankings. There's also an inverse proportion to the amount of resentment.

Merri - you don't know me very well, do you? Actually I was a counselor once. Now they know better.

Sam - Funny. In one of Season 11's episodes, the Hell's Satans bike gang out of Bakersfield makes Homer eat his leather jacket.
