I ran to church to do guard duty for Home Family Personal Enrichment night.  People must've thought it queer to see some guy running down the road with a Book of Mormon in hand.  I finished 2 Nephi and got through Jacob 4.  I was going to run home but was offered a ride and took it.  Now I wish I hadn't because I STEE-INK!

Glad I got a couple miles in so I'm no longer at 6.66 miles for the week.  Bad number.

They probably thought it was weirder seeing someone running in a guard uniform.

From Lucia on Fri, Feb 13, 2009 at 11:27:01

It could be a new conversion technique... reading the book of Mormon while running!

Yeah nobody likes steeeeeeeeeeenky people!

From Burt on Fri, Feb 13, 2009 at 11:34:24

In general, I'm not a stinky person. But there are times I am more than others. Probably not appropriate to post when those times are...

From Lucia on Fri, Feb 13, 2009 at 11:38:49

well nobody that stinks think they stink!

From Burt on Fri, Feb 13, 2009 at 11:49:23

Well, do you stink? Are you in denial?

From montelepsy on Fri, Feb 13, 2009 at 12:50:16

I'm so likeable, it overcomes my stinkiness. At least online it does...

Running with a B of M, huh?

I have never heard that one before!!!

From Burt on Fri, Feb 13, 2009 at 14:41:33

It was actually the LDM; Libro de Mormon. Bishop challenged the ward to read the BOM three times this year. I decided to do the first time in Spanish en voz alta (out loud.) It's taking forever, and I'm a bit behind. So any chance I get...

From Kelli on Sat, Feb 14, 2009 at 14:48:34

You read it out loud??? Well, at least that keeps you from falling asleep while reading! Maybe you should download it onto an iPod and then run while you listen to it!?!

I am glad you are not on my Ragnar team Mr STEEEEINKY! Our car will smell like roses!

From Burt on Sat, Feb 14, 2009 at 15:09:34

Some how I doubt that, Kelli. And if it does, I will make sure to jump in, roll around, and leave plenty of my musk for you all.

From Kelli on Sat, Feb 14, 2009 at 15:52:29

Actually, it well smell like pumpkin spice. That is the strongest air freshener I have and it will be making the trip with us!!!
