This morning I stopped at the magic water fountain and instead of heading home, continued around the city block.  When I got to the corner of Val Vista and Broadway I stopped at the gas station to grab another drink.  There I saw Brad who is my BFFL that went running with me a few weeks ago.  We had a nice conversation about explosive diarrhea and ear wax.

Time - 50:47 (avg. pace 9:20)

Splits - 9:10, 9:16, 9:22, 9:33, 9:18, 4:10

Nice run Burt! Any correlation between earwax and explosive diarrhea? I am an expert in the latter so if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Buzz, your girlfriend! Woof!

From Toby on Wed, Aug 24, 2011 at 11:43:51 from 216.194.124.36

Nice run...but you must not be running hard enough if you have breath to talk about those things :)

From Burt on Wed, Aug 24, 2011 at 12:31:55 from 72.223.91.148

Acorn - I'll give it a whirl.

Toby - There's always time to talk about "those things."

From Dan on Wed, Aug 24, 2011 at 18:45:30 from 24.209.83.20

I always miss the fun conversations, I have a lot to contribute to those topics. I mean my ear wax just pops right out on it's own many days. My wife says...Weird.

From Burt on Wed, Aug 24, 2011 at 18:51:43 from 206.19.214.144

Explosive ear wax. That is weird. Too much chinese food, I think, will cause that.

From allie on Wed, Aug 24, 2011 at 19:35:37 from 161.38.218.168

i have no idea what you are talking about. who's that guy in the window?

From Burt on Wed, Aug 24, 2011 at 19:41:37 from 206.19.214.144

The one with the waggily tail? If you don't know, it's better that you don't.

From Hamdog Alum on Wed, Aug 24, 2011 at 20:20:25 from 68.185.190.140

Burt nice pun! Hey I learned the best way to controllable the uncontrollable. Use an Imodium pill an hour before a race or workout. I learned this from a friend who is a runner and has a spastic colon.

From Kira Bell on Thu, Aug 25, 2011 at 12:42:11 from 74.220.196.214

lol uhh what the? Nice Run Burt :)

From Burt on Thu, Aug 25, 2011 at 12:47:05 from 206.19.214.144

Hamdog - Spastic colon! Sounds funny. But I'm sure it's a medical term and there's nothing funny about it.

Kira - You never know what you're going to walk into when you come to my blog.
