This morning I had plans on running double digits, but my sister-in-law called and needed help with her homework.  I ended up getting to work at 10am and wishing all day that I could go home and run.  There wasn't much going on at work, so at three o'clock when I got a text message about going to play flag football in an hour, I took off.  I ran the 3.39 miles there and had a fun time tossing the old pig skin around.

Time - 28:43 (avg. pace 8:29)

Splits - 8:27, 8:29, 8:29, 3:18 for 0.39 (8:31 pace)

The remaining 0.30 miles was from my goofy video this morning.

Nothing like skipping out on work for some flag football. Especially when you get there at 10am. I hope you were able to squeeze a few lunch breaks in there.

You should have run 3.39 miles home and you would have been close to your double digits. Are you sore from play football. All that sprinting and cutting usually makes me real sore.

No one has texted me to come play football in a long time, in fact the last time I played football there was no texting.

Joe - just one lunch break. But it was a long one.

Rhett - I got a ride home from a guy in my bishopric. I am a little sore, but mostly from another guy that stepped on my foot with his cleats.

Mark - I'll text you next time.

You and your lunch breaks. Sounds like one of my lawyer friends.
