Oh sweet! I'm on the first page of the Mileage Board!

From Merri on Tue, Nov 23, 2010 at 12:59:23 from 160.7.252.148

tramp is right, isn't she with Stedman?

From Burt on Tue, Nov 23, 2010 at 13:01:27 from 206.19.214.144

I guess she doesn't believe in the institute of marriage.

From Merri on Tue, Nov 23, 2010 at 13:08:18 from 160.7.252.148

good point good point. so how is oprah. it's been a while since we've talked.

From allie on Tue, Nov 23, 2010 at 13:08:51 from 174.23.238.75

oprah ain't got nothin' on you...except for a faster marathon time.

From Burt on Tue, Nov 23, 2010 at 13:18:32 from 206.19.214.144

Merri - I don't know. Haven't they cancelled that show yet?

allie! Remember what I said I was going to do to Old Man Winter? Well, I have two legs.

From allie on Tue, Nov 23, 2010 at 13:23:24 from 174.23.238.75

i deserve it. sorry. it was for motivational purposes only, but it typed out a lot meaner than it sounded in my head. what i meant to say was: oprah is a tramp. and the spurs are dirty.

From Burt on Tue, Nov 23, 2010 at 13:24:56 from 206.19.214.144

Love you allie. You're back on my Favorite's List.

From Metcalf Running on Tue, Nov 23, 2010 at 13:44:33 from 207.225.192.66

40 degrees??? We are going to be a balmy 10 tomorrow.... BRRRRRRR

From Chad on Tue, Nov 23, 2010 at 14:16:42 from 168.177.153.5

Nice miles. And Oprah is a balloon, she couldn't through down 11.

From DonGardinero on Tue, Nov 23, 2010 at 14:27:39 from 67.2.111.180

Stud!!! Oprah Shmoprah.....Uma...Oprah....Oprah....Okra.

From runningafterbabies on Tue, Nov 23, 2010 at 16:38:40 from 24.10.211.135

Ummm, don't you hate Oprah? You must have been having a nightmare about her and that made you jump right out of bed this morning.

From PRE on Tue, Nov 23, 2010 at 19:50:00 from 99.50.214.225

Ahhh, Oprah working her magic. Getting Burt out of bed. She is such a powerful person!

Great distance today Burt. That mileage board is excellent. Did not know about it. Maybe I might go for page 1 at some point. Not this week though as I have only run 8 miles this week. uhh hmmmm.

From Burt on Tue, Nov 23, 2010 at 20:33:54 from 206.19.214.144

Lori - Don't you like that word balmy?

Chad - Oprah ran the Chicago Marathon in 4 hours and 29 minutes. That hurts.

DG - that's what I'm talkin' about!

RAB - I do hate her. I hate her guts. Knowing she's run a faster marathon than I have gets me up and running now.

PRE - aren't you from Chicago? That means you must love Oprah. I do not apologize. But I am glad that you're learning more about the blog.

From KP on Tue, Nov 23, 2010 at 21:34:37 from 173.16.13.61

i still don't see how she ran that time. that is seriously my goal in life: beat oprah's marathon time.

From RAD on Tue, Nov 23, 2010 at 22:03:45 from 67.172.229.125

Nice miles - Oprah inspired or not!

From Chad on Tue, Nov 23, 2010 at 22:32:27 from 204.113.19.55

She may have run that once, but her balloon has blown up some since, so I'd like to see her throw down 11 now.

From Bec on Tue, Nov 23, 2010 at 23:00:39 from 71.199.12.198

Two words for you Burt... Hate you! Well, I really don't but I am just plain jealous of your weather. At this moment I am looking out the window into a blizzard. I just ask "Why, oh why?" Time to move to Arizona.

From SlowJoe on Wed, Nov 24, 2010 at 01:06:44 from 109.70.68.174

Nice job on the double digits. I'm still trying to figure what Oprah was doing in your bed though. Sugar momma?

From Burt on Wed, Nov 24, 2010 at 09:44:39 from 72.223.84.236

Chad - Do you think she's pop if I stuck her with a pin? It's worth a shot.

Bec - Well, we had a little frost on the vehicles yesterday. And at the park the grass was a field of white frost. It was snow-ish.

Joe - can't...stop...violent...vomit...projectiles

From PRE on Thu, Nov 25, 2010 at 23:04:35 from 99.50.214.225

Hi Burt,

I am not from Chicago. I am from Connecticut. But I did travel to Chicago this year to run the 10/10/10 Chicago Marathon.

By the way, Oprah ran the Marine Corps Marathon (not Chicago) in 4:29:15 and that was in 1994.

But maybe this will make you feel a little better:

Ted Koppel ran the Marine Corps Marathon in 5:09:08 (1983)

Al Gore ran the Marine Corps Marathon in 4:54:25 (1997)

So Oprah did a bit better than you. But you annihilated Koppel and Gore.
