It wasn't as warm as it has been lately.  Perhaps that's why I ran faster than I have been lately.  My foot felt fine.  I'm really digging the water fountain.  I like how the cover magically raises up.

Time - 25:47 (avg. pace 8:35)

Splits - 8:46.33, 8:22.67, 8:36.03, 0:02.48

Those hundredths of a second are so important.  :)

Update on the fundraiser.  We've raised over $600 for SDSA with almost half of the donors being Fast Running Bloggers.  I love you guys!

hello anji, hello Burt... nice pace on your miles this morning. I'm curious about the magic water fountain. Did I miss a photo of it somewhere?

From Burt on Mon, Aug 08, 2011 at 14:25:25 from 206.19.214.144

Hi Pirate. No photos yet. Maybe I'll post a video.

Catherine - ah thanks. That means a lot.

RAD - No. It's cool. It helps me get in touch with my feminine side.

Burt, you and Allie must be blogging too much, you're starting to look like her.

From Burt on Tue, Aug 09, 2011 at 14:31:45 from 206.19.214.144

No, that is a picture of allie. Wait, do you mean the elephant's butt. That does look like me.

From allie on Tue, Aug 09, 2011 at 14:37:13 from 161.38.218.168

that's a pretty good picture of me, and a pretty good picture of burt. but i feel bad for the frenzied woman in the purple singlet -- she's got a lot of issues.

it's also about stealing copyrighted photos from facebook (that were stolen from zazoosh) and re-creating very, very, very traumatizing childhood experiences.

From Walter on Wed, Aug 10, 2011 at 20:38:01 from 24.2.69.110

Man, I am slow on Burts pic. Seriously! I was talking about your pics when I ran with Kim in SD and how clever you are with them. Awesome!

From seeaprilrun on Wed, Aug 10, 2011 at 21:46:32 from 174.70.177.86

Oh. My. Another Burt picture that knocks me speecheless. And a cover on a public water fountain? I have never heard of such a thing. I don't think us hicks here in Kansas have those.

From Burt on Wed, Aug 10, 2011 at 22:05:07 from 206.19.214.144

Walter - thanks. Your stamp of approval is all I need.

April - shhhh! Don't say anything.

From Julie on Thu, Aug 11, 2011 at 10:13:40 from 67.199.162.82

From Burt on Thu, Aug 11, 2011 at 14:02:37 from 206.19.214.144
