I think when you settle into a rhythm, your mind choses a song that matches that rhythm.   Today's song was "Didn't do the dishes.  Lazy.  Lazy.  Jumping out the window.  Double, crazy.  Itsy bitsy soda pop.  Itsy bitsy boo.  Isty bitsy soda pop a boy loves you.  It's true.  It's true.  A boy loves you."

Time - 56:18 (avg. pace 8:40)

Splits - 8:43, 8:42, 8:41, 8:38, 8:36, 8:41, 4:18 for 0.50 (8:41 pace)

Thank goodness for that 6th mile.  I would have hated to turn this into a progressive run.

I understand absolutely nothing that you just wrote, including the lack of miles reflected in your total miles.

From Burt on Sun, Nov 14, 2010 at 14:45:49 from 68.225.214.248

Honestly jun. You are out of touch. But I'm out of my head when you're not around.

You need a progressive run Mr. P90x

From Burt on Sun, Nov 14, 2010 at 21:04:49 from 68.225.214.248

allie - no you didn't.

Sam - I can round it off easier than I can run it. I actually wanted to run a lot more, but as usual, I waited too long and ran out of time.

Lily - do I really?

From flatlander on Mon, Nov 15, 2010 at 10:06:10 from 76.31.26.153

I swear, you get into a rhythm and you are like a metronome. Have never seen anybody who can string so many identical miles together.

From Burt on Mon, Nov 15, 2010 at 10:24:52 from 206.19.214.144

Flat - what' wrong with me lately? It's kinda creeping me out. Your marathon miles were like a roller coaster; up and down. Congrats again tho on your BQ performance.

Rachel has started p90x, but she's not going to take before and after pictures. I wish she could be more like you. At least in the posting half naked pictures aspect.

From auntieem on Mon, Nov 15, 2010 at 20:04:21 from 98.247.176.184

So, conversely, what if we start the rhythm first, then let the pace match the rhythm? Could be scary dangerous, no?

From Sammie Howard on Tue, Nov 16, 2010 at 05:34:43 from 78.32.130.9

Mike isnt Rachel your wife lol at that comment..... maybe she will send you those piccies if you ask nicely rather than posting on the wide web :)

From baldnspicy on Tue, Nov 16, 2010 at 06:57:47 from 72.77.120.222

I have no idea what that means, but I do understand the 6.5mi. Good job!
