I stubbed my toes on the bathroom wall this morning.  Ouch.  They still hurt, but I went running anyway.  I saw a dead bird in the road right next to some serving tongs.  Now why would someone try to cook a bird in the gutter?

Funzo - You do what you gotta do to survive.

April - I'll bring the bird to your Pampered Chef party tomorrow. What can I get for it?

Dale - The fly south for the winter, and they fly to Phoenix to die.

From Burt on Tue, May 03, 2011 at 21:13:05 from 206.19.214.144

From PRE on Tue, May 03, 2011 at 23:45:02 from 99.50.214.225

I have to say I admire your ability to notice nature on your runs and routes. You notice the dead ducks, the dead birds, the dead men (oh no, that's right, he wasn't dead). I only see road kill. Yeah what's up with that Easter candy...you still have some left??? I recently noticed chocolate does cause you to gain weight (me, not you...I don't know about you...me).

From I Just Run on Wed, May 04, 2011 at 10:22:32 from 67.79.11.242

Burt doesn't go on "runs" he goes on "nature strolls" :) I heard he started a new Blog... I think it's www.naturestrollingblog.com

Burt, have you seen the Far Side entitled "Secret Tools of the Common Crow"? It's like you channeled that panel. Ooh, a poem. http://www.resug.com/secret-tools-of-the-common-crow

From Burt on Fri, May 06, 2011 at 19:28:43 from 72.223.90.79

Ah. That explains it. Pesky crows.
