I saw a guy out running today that I haven't seen for a while.  I better name him.  I shall call him Run2day because his license plate says RUN2DAY.  He looks pretty fast.  Very friendly.  As we were passing each other I said, "Let's run today!"  I'm not sure if he heard me because he was saying, "GOOD MORNING!!" at the same time.  I think he's my new best friend.

Time - 44:12 (avg. pace 7:53)

Splits - 7:52, 7:47, 7:58, 8:01, 8:02, 4:32 (7:32 avg.)

If I had run another 0.60 miles at a 7:07 pace, I would have beat my PR in the 10k.  I'm excited about that cuz it was just a training run.

With a number plate like that I reckon Burt must drive a limousine and have a number plate along the side! LOL

Merri - do you have to think of a different excuse every time why you can't?

From Merri on Tue, Oct 13, 2009 at 13:55:24 from 67.199.179.247

yes how did you know.

From Burt on Tue, Oct 13, 2009 at 14:07:57 from 68.76.197.194

It's okay to say it. I'm the one that texts you every night. So when you said, that your pet crocodile was about to give birth, that was a lie?

From Eric Day on Tue, Oct 13, 2009 at 14:20:07 from 200.77.39.201

Did he have his license plate on his shorts? He was carrying it?

From Lily on Tue, Oct 13, 2009 at 15:10:14 from 67.199.181.242

From Burt on Tue, Oct 13, 2009 at 15:15:40 from 68.76.197.194

Well Eric and Lily, I'm the one that needs a license plate on my butt because I'm so fast. I'm registered with the DMV. But he lives right around the corner from me. I saw him washing his car. And he has a nice butt.
