I'm still running slow, and I can feel tightness in my hammy, but at least I'm running.  That's a good thing, right?  Even though I can't run fast, right now I'm feeling as fit as a fiddle.  Overall I've never felt so good, and I owe it all to P90X.  I bare testimony that P90X works.  Its methods are true.  I feel it in every fiber of my being.  Tony Horton is a true instructor.  I leave these things with you and close by saying that everyone should bring it.  Amen.

Time - 31:44 (avg. pace 9:22)

Splits  - 9:08, 9:33, 9:26, 3:38 for 0.39 (9:16 pace)

I hope you used that one over the pulpit! It was very persuasive.

"I'm done talking. 5, 4...3, 2...and 1 and 2 and 3 and 4..."

From Burt on Tue, Apr 13, 2010 at 15:44:12 from 206.19.214.144

Melody - you would lose all respect for me if you've heard some of the things I've said over the pulpit. lol!

KP - you so funny.

From Scott Wesemann on Tue, Apr 13, 2010 at 17:07:38 from 66.239.250.209

I am sure that P90X is helping, but don't discount the effects of the aerodynamics of the new chest hair.

From artichoke on Tue, Apr 13, 2010 at 21:07:35 from 71.37.104.182

I enjoyed your testimony today.

From ChrisM on Wed, Apr 14, 2010 at 05:56:47 from 130.88.123.4

Good to hear the P90X is working! And you still have a coupole of days to finish the whole thing?

They should pay you to advertise/endorse it, and you could plug the blog too!

From Samantha Dean-Howard on Wed, Apr 14, 2010 at 08:03:22 from 78.32.130.9

From Kelli on Wed, Apr 14, 2010 at 09:28:15 from 71.219.92.128

I guess I should do more than just sit on my bed and watch the videos, because it really is not working for me at all.

From Metcalf Running on Wed, Apr 14, 2010 at 10:21:40 from 207.225.192.66

Nice testimony :) Need to try and get me some of that.

From ChrisM on Wed, Apr 14, 2010 at 12:27:36 from 86.154.108.0

I'm not quite sure yet about whether to buy it. What wavering woe! Maybe if Burt YouTube's himself doing the P90X it will help make up my mind?

From Nan on Wed, Apr 14, 2010 at 12:33:40 from 174.51.250.151

Lets all chant in unison now....You Tube! You Tube! You Tube!!

From Burt on Wed, Apr 14, 2010 at 12:37:13 from 206.19.214.144

Oh, check it out. There's a P90X banner advertisement at the top of my page. I may be the only one who can see it. Anyway, I may start getting paid for promoting P90X. There is a business side to it, coaching it's called, that my friend Doug (the one I ran my last race with) has introduced me to. It might be nice to earn a couple extra hundred bucks a month.

From Samantha Dean-Howard on Wed, Apr 14, 2010 at 13:18:48 from 90.201.147.34

From Lyns on Wed, Apr 14, 2010 at 17:09:32 from 174.27.209.90

You've almost got me wanting to do P90X.

From Scott Ensign on Wed, Apr 14, 2010 at 21:28:07 from 71.35.223.135

I must be the only person on this blog who has absolutely no idea what P90X is. hey- I just joined the fastrunning bloggers unite page on facebook. Now I am going to start thinking of running for one of those offices. when is the election for chief troublemaker?

From Burt on Wed, Apr 14, 2010 at 23:13:39 from 98.177.220.145

I have never seen Father Ted. Sorry. Is he Mr. Bean's brother?

Scott - I'm afraid it's a lifelong calling. The only way you'll get that position is a hostile takeover.

Lyns - you just worry about taking care of that hernia.

From baldnspicy on Thu, Apr 15, 2010 at 11:35:08 from 167.164.3.140

Burt...I didn't realize it was open mic Sunday...er, Tuesday. Sorry, confusing your testimony of P90X with something else. Glad to hear you're keeping the fitness even with your recovery!
