I had a real cool blogger call me up yesterday to check on me.  I assured him (or her) that all is well, and I haven't quit running.  In fact, I wanted to get out last night, but that never happens.

This morning I walked my younger daughters a quarter mile to school, then did my usual 5 mile 'round-the-city-block' run.  At the half way mark Sis. Strader honked at me.  She was car pooling my older daughters to their school.  Then at mile 5 I saw Br. Strader.  Some might call us BFFs.  Not me though.  I'm too old for a BFF.

Time - 45:37 (avg. pace 8:49)

Splits - 8:46, 8:36, 8:53, 9:02, 8:47, 1:33

It's ok, you can tell them it was me that called you.

I'm glad you got in a good run AND walked your daughter to school.

Sue - that was kind of a hassle for you. But at least your there now which means you've finally arrived to the big time.

Dale - My wife usually drives them because she thinks it's too hot for them to walk a quarter mile to school. I say it builds character. Anyway, yesterday it was 70 and my daughter thought it was cold.

Merri - I played basketball again yesterday and I still suck.
