I had a fun time Saturday watching my friends, bloggers, and blogger friends at the Phoenix Marathon.  I saw Rhett, Melody, Jake, Andrea, Rachelle, Spencer, Collin, Dave, Riley, and Little Bad Legs, not necessarily in that order.

Here's a picture of me, Collin (but you can't see him because he was shy about having a raspy voice), Andrea and Rachelle.

Here's a picture of Collin on the podium.

Here is Jake on the podium as the overall champion.  Riley Cook came in 3rd.

Jake really is a nice guy in real life.  And I don't think his victory went to his head at all.

I have quite the cartoon head! But I guess they say the camera triples your skull diameter...

I thought Jake ran in a Lion suite after I saw the second picture. Same size head.

Does Peters shirt say Jake on it?

From Jake K on Mon, Mar 04, 2013 at 11:44:06 from 155.100.226.191

I've always wanted to be a mascot (I'm not kidding!). I have the perfect head for it... the costume head wouldn't even bobble around on me.

From Burt on Mon, Mar 04, 2013 at 11:49:08 from 71.216.109.214

Peter's shirt does say Team Jake.

From Burt on Mon, Mar 04, 2013 at 16:18:55 from 71.216.109.214

Actually, I'm just behind on blogging. I've got a buttload of more miles that I haven't entered in yet.

Jake's head sure got big after winning that marathon. Wow!

That would have been a fun race to watch.

From julieesplin on Wed, Mar 06, 2013 at 13:19:53 from 75.169.182.225

With all that running going on you didn't even do a little bit? .1 maybe?

From Burt on Wed, Mar 06, 2013 at 15:57:14 from 71.216.109.214

Tara - his head isn't as big as my belly.

Julie - I did do a little bit of running. Probably 0.25 miles. But I haven't even written my Ragnar report. Such a lazy blogger.
