I fell asleep last night because I was trying to watch the Suns game while at the same time finish watching the movie Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li.  I thought it would be a better movie than it was, but the storyline was weak.  Kristin Kreuk is the hottest hotty in Hollywood, so at least it had that going for it.  Anyway, I didn't do P90X last night.  This morning I was still sore so I just rode the stationary bike for 15 minutes.  I'll have to get my run in tonight as well as my P90X workout.  I think it's Yoga X.

Today's Emily's third birthday.  I'm glad she's feeling better.  I don't think she has a clue about what a birthday is, but she does like to open presents.  Here's some pictures we took of her a couple of weeks ago when she was helping us cook.

PM Workout

3 easy easy miles.  I wasn't wearing my Garmin.  I just wanted to loosen up because I thought I had to do Yoga X.  It turns out it was Arms and Shoulders/Ab Ripper X.  I'm kind of glad I didn't have to do Yoga.  I feel great now.

She is a beauty! Happy birthday form Utah!

From Burt on Thu, Feb 04, 2010 at 18:49:20 from 206.19.214.144

Sam - We always let our kids decide what dinner they want for their birthday. We're trying to figure out what she's going to want.

auntieem - Who knew she had the strength to crush an egg in the palm of her hand?

Camille - Time flies. Can you believe Abby was born a month after I started working at HEC? BTW, I just passed my 5-year mark. 3 weeks of paid vacation coming my way. Woot - woot!

Toby - I assume you speak for everyone from Utah, except anji. lol!

From Camille on Thu, Feb 04, 2010 at 19:03:59 from 71.223.71.93

Congrats on passing the 5 yr mark! Feels good, doesn't it? I would be at 8 yrs if I were still there. Actually, next Tuesday will be my 1 year anniversary at Nfra. Crazy? Isn't it? Abby is so cute. I can't believe she is 5 (or almost 5).

What a cutie! Glad she's feeling better. I'm coming up on my 4 yr anniversary at my company. I don't get jack squat until 10 yrs, so enjoy that 3 weeks!!

From Lyman on Fri, Feb 05, 2010 at 09:38:27 from 75.169.106.129

Happy Birthday Emily! Your a lucky Dad, Burt.

From Burt on Fri, Feb 05, 2010 at 09:58:23 from 98.177.216.165

Wes - we have people coming up on the 10-year anniversary, and they just took away whatever benefits they were supposed to get.

Lyman - Thanks. She really loved her presents. She got some 'pop' (bubbles), some little wind up toys from her sister, and a karaoke machine which somehow she knew right away that she was supposed to sing into the microphone.

From Bonnie on Fri, Feb 05, 2010 at 10:15:54 from 64.119.33.134

Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Emily -- happy birthday to you!!

From baldnspicy on Fri, Feb 05, 2010 at 10:59:06 from 72.95.175.57

Well, I'm glad they gave the benefits to you! You deserve them.

I saw the "pop" she got and was horrified that you may be teaching your child that soda pop is "pop" - it's SODA people, SODA!

From Burt on Fri, Feb 05, 2010 at 11:10:19 from 206.19.214.144

Bonnie - We must have sang that to her a million times yesterday. She would laugh when she hear her name.

Wes - speaking of SODA, my oldest daughter has been getting bad migraines lately (girl stuff, I guess), so we've been letting her drink Dr. Pepper, and now her other sister thinks she's going to hell.

From RivertonPaul on Fri, Feb 05, 2010 at 12:25:13 from 67.42.27.114

Perhaps you should give her Mtn. Dew.

From Lybi on Fri, Feb 05, 2010 at 12:37:44 from 68.3.191.246

Burt, she is truly precious!

I wish the yoga workout was shorter. 1 1/2 hours in down dog! Jeeps.

From Burt on Fri, Feb 05, 2010 at 12:44:39 from 206.19.214.144

Paul - it's actually those tiny cans of WalMart brand, Dr. Thunder. I was too embarrassed to admit that we buy generic.

Lybi - I don't mind downward dog. It's upward dog that bothers me. Are you really supposed to be on your toes and off of your knees? That kills!

From seeaprilrun on Fri, Feb 05, 2010 at 16:38:19 from 68.103.250.39

Happy birthday Emily! I love her pictures she is such a doll!

From Kelli on Fri, Feb 05, 2010 at 19:40:05 from 71.219.89.82

You did not want to do Yoga???

She is adorable, and those eggs on her pants are the reason I buy "fake eggs" as my kids call them (egg beaters). My 4 year old has never seen a real egg! I am such a mean mom.

From Marathon Dreamer on Sat, Feb 06, 2010 at 10:36:55 from 200.52.168.6

AWW!! So sweet!! Happy Birthday Emily!!
